Thanks for this great vid. I thought of this: I’ve got this vu meter which can automatically ‘gain stage’, as in look for and hit a certain volume target. Would putting this plugin before and after a compressor in the chain be a good way to automatically make-up gain? Some compressors have auto gain, but this might be an easy way to do this with extreme precision. Or am I wrong thinking this?
I wouldn’t over think it. Vu meters can help for sure but what makes the track fit in the song after being compressed may not be the exact same about of gain. Use your ears to add gain while flipping the plug in on and off and your results will be way better then just trying ti match gain exactly with a meter. Hope this helps😁 happy mixing!
this is the best method of adjusting attack and release settings, by listening. not many tutorials emphasize this. good job !
Gotta trust your ears. Mixing by numbers doesn’t work❤️
When’s the next live? Tryna see the 2 songs mix
Which two songs? Future and what was the other one?
@@AfterlifeStudios it was Travis and Pop Smoke
@@AfterlifeStudios for the night and highest in the room
Got you🔥
