This is an excellent video. Unlike most of these presentation videos, this one is edited and moves right along. Also, overlaying the slides so that they are easily read, when the speaker is not pointing at them, is a really nice touch. Thank you for having such and informative speaker and for doing such a good job of presenting it.

@L-36 By far your comment is the most descriptive and complimentary ever written on this platform. I am the Producer/Editor of this 3-cam (front & right side and one into audience) live production. There were no *CUT*'s to be shouted and then *take it from...* to resume the presentation. The Post Production was all W2NZ. All the proper accreditations/credits are given in the Outro. Sir, YOU are most welcome for your thanks and kudos. Sincerely, W2NZ

Funny, I have said that very thing time after time. Must be Dr. Taylor's practice of lecturing all those years.

I applaud your wonderful new communication modes FT8, FT4 ... great development. And, thank you very much.
For Korea (HL), the operating frequency range of 80m Band is 3.500 ~ 3.550MHz according to Korean Radio Law.
When selecting the FT4 frequency, please request to select 3.547MHz or 3.523MHz.
If set to 3.567MHz as per the basic plan, no Korean HAM can be used.
Once again, I am deeply grateful for your new mode development.

Great minds at work and radios will be cheaper as one does not need a microphone. Computer radio at it finest. Next artificial intelligence to operate the radio and one does not even need to be home. Talk to your computer and tell it what you want it to do and it will even send for certificates.

AI and automation - for the purists (not to be taken or implied disparaging classification) of anything, change in any way shape or form is usually taken as the downfall of the product or resulting product. I agree if we are talking of the "needs" of instant gratification unfortunately said originally by a smarter person than me, "These are the Good Ole Days... .".

I wish it was more qso key to key not as automated as it is. Doesn't feel like ham radio when it is so automated.

It is not a rag chewing mode, best applied to Contesting and catching the rare station on air.

All they have to do is connect the ham radio to our bank accounts and soon they'll have thousands of Nigerians working to improve WSJT.

Another Useless mode that leaves Humans as a button pusher while a bunch of unlicensed computers make contacts. There really are some LAZY ASS Ham Operators in the world today.

I don't think it is that, I (as in my personal opinion) think of it as SPORT. It is just another way to achieve a result, a QSO.
