- After over half a year being on the market, I finally pulled the trigger on this purchase and I feel some remorse. It is still good though in comparison to older models but still, it could be better.

Thank God!! I found this video, i was suspecting my g shock to be fake. Now i am relieved. That buckle feels so cheap.
I got the same model a week ago and I'm not too fussed about the plastic buckle but I find it very uncomfortable to wear compared to my other g-shocks. In addition to that, my arm hair keeps getting caught in it somehow. That doesn't happen with my other g-shocks either. However, my other g-shocks don't have the quick release straps, just the regular resin straps. It could be the quick release mechanism that is causing this issue.
Also, this model looks really cool in images but it's very hard to read due to the low contrast and the reflection on the crystal and the solar panel.
Ive got the yellow one and I like it. But I was very disappointed by the lack of auto-light and it's not as comfortable as I thought. Of course the best things are the solar and Bluetooth + it's so light on the wrist.

Just because there is an animation on the screen, it doesn’t mean you have to wait.
Like in stopwatch mode, once the mode is selected, simply push start and it will stop the animation and start the stopwatch.
It’s as simple as that.
Same thing on the GST-B400.
The phone finder function is neat tho. 😂
Yellow one feels like cheap, but has a metal buckle and is very comfortable. Also the sword hands are bigger and the led lighting seems brighter than on the other models. Indices are whiter and overall it's a super legible dial.
I am going to mod it, got something different and unusual in the post but already had more compliments on this than my expensive steel models. Not disappointed for my $75 at all.
I'm definitely gonna mod mine. Need to source for some parts first!
As far as I remember, the yellow B2100 also has a plastic buckle. Are you sure yours is not a replica?

Anyway, now it's a smoked transparent black case with a black band.. looks great. 😊
I too ordered the yellow model & was not very happy to see it in person. So I swap them with used GA-2100-1A black bezel & strap. I also swapped the silver metal buckle with the black metal buckle from the yellow strap. I'm extremely happy with the result. I'm thinking of getting an all black GA-B2100 like in the video & swap the strap with a brown nato strap.
hey. i got a GA-B2100 too and want to try to replace the buckle with a metal one. I can't seem to be able to remove the buckle from the strap as its not using the normal spring bar. Did you manage to do it?
Initially, after I bought my first 2 cheap gshock watches I felt that I need many more, however. I looked at my measly 2 piece collection yesterday and I felt like i got all of them.
One more cripling addiction, successfully avoided...
This is why i like more digital g-shock watches because they have awesome backlight feature and that One i didn't like it it's very dark but i like the black watch it is a good looking One. Thanks for the video
I just got the GAB-2100, and yes I wore it for a couple of days, and I found it to be a little uncomfortable(?) I ordered Jays/Kays Lugs and try fabric two piece or NATO. Good Job!
i think the buckle made of plastic is durable, it's not easy to break the buckle if it's right when you want to wear a watch or when you take off the watch? maybe especially you are worried that it is the broken part of the pin.
I have the same watch. I too found it to be uncomfortable, but after giving it some thought, I found it was lighter than the other Casios I wear. I’ll get used to wearing it, but I think the problem is that it’s too light. You got a good deal paying 80$ I spent 130$ for mine. It’s a Casio G-Shock, that’s what counts. Thanks for your thoughts about the watch. It’s always good to hear what others have to say about their Casios.
Agree with you, no auto light, check the manual and specs, though it has solar charging, it mentions second battery with 2-3 year life? G-Shock confirmed this too so not really solar powered? Hybrid power? IDK
These rechargeable batteries will easily last 10 years.

changing sub dial to mode indicator is stupidest decision casio make, have date, day & time at glance is what most people need, they should just put small icon in lcd for each mode instead
Is the visibility very bad on the all black? I see only a few people saying it is, Hard to decide the all black or the black with yellow solar on it
It is very bad. Low contrast coupled with screen glare makes it very hard to read.

Unfortunately no. Even if they do, the delivery cost would be too high. I'd recommend finding them used from Buyee

You choose the all back version when you could have brought the yellow version or the normal black version both with positive display, i brought the yellow one plus i thought twice about buying the stealth out version for this exact reason, especially when the sun hits the face and dial of the watch, next time my advice to you is think before you buy, that way less problems in the future.
Hi, I have the same watch and on mine I can start stopwatch or timer imidiately after navigating to specific mode. Eg. if i navigate to stopwatch, I can press start during the "STW" is displayed and counting is started.

Not all of them, my GM-110 didn't have metal buckles. Casio just decide which is best themselves based on the color series and of course price point.

There are other color variants out there that might be cheaper, find them on buyee, perhaps consider used conditions for better deal
