Smoky's Escape! The Smartest Cat in the World?

- Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! It has been a while since many of you have seen our semi truck and our Trail-Eze TE801 trailer. And most of you have never met Smoky. Smoky is our shop cat. He just showed up one day and has since taken over my office and has the run of the shop. He's definitely a one-of-a-kind cat!!! Anyway, I have a short run to pick up a fire engine and bring it to our shop for repairs and I decide to take Smoky along with me. I wanted to see if he would enjoy riding along so he could start going on a few calls with me. Well, when you see what hijinx he gets into...no spoiler alerts here. Anyway, it's funny. I will say this, it is true that fire personnel rescue cats...LOL!!! I hope you enjoy this video!!!

I like to seeing the POV while you’re driving. I get to see roads/scenery that I may never get chance to see.
I'm a simple man. I see a Ron Pratt video, I hit the like button. Buuuut, when I see a Ron Pratt video featuring a cat, I absolutely DESTROY THAT LIKE BUTTON!
I don't mind seeing the views while you are in route. Smokey acts like a keeper. STAY SAFE OUT THERE.
Smoky took that ride like a champ! When taking my cats to the vet, I'm always worried LEO will pull up next to me and think somebody's getting murdered in the back seat. Smoky looks a lot like an old semi-feral cat who's decided our front porch is a safe place. Canned food and a new heated cat house helped him decide. They say cats choose their human - Smoky's smart AND has good taste!
It reminded me of the accident where the driver was injured and nobody knew that he had a cat on board until a few days had passed. The family called your shop and you found his cat in the cab. Your kindness to that family was beautiful and the driver retired his kitty to stay at home after that scare.
I swear that every single mechanic shop that is good has a shop cat. It doesn't matter what kind of mechanic or where they are.
Love the fact that you took the time out of your busy schedule Ron to bring Smokey along with you. And what else was amazing is while he was riding in the truck with you, he answered you while you were talking to him... Your love & care for him speaks volumes...! It's nice to see you have a buddy to ride with you and many of us would like to see him along with you when the safe circumstance's allows... Love your new addition ride along buddy...!🐈⬛👨🏻
You'll have to get him a little safety vest as well.
Looks like Smokey is happier being in the shop.

Ron, everything I've ever said about your caring, respectful and insightful nature in how you treat your customers shows here even still, with your concern for kitty, and even your happy willingness to return back to the shop if he'd shown discomfort. I love that he adopted you instead of you adopting him. Same thing happened at the fire station last year. Our little friend Tilly (play on Tiller because that's where it's stationed) showed up and she just lives there now. Has a collar, got her microchipped and vaccinated. Now she just hangs out.
Child safety locks for the windows plus a harness with leash. That will keep him from jumping out, even if he gets the window down, LOL!! Glad someone was there to grab him. So very nice to see people really care about their fur baby the way you did. THANKS for caring for him. God bless and protect.
"Stray" cats and dogs have a great way of finding humans who will look after them well. Looks as if Smoky will be a team players once he gets to know you all properly 🙂
Glad he is a people kitty and went right to them, mine would have likely ran, he is NOT a ride kitty as he just thinks vet. Seems Smoky is chatty, mine is but I think it all boils down to "GET ME TREATS" 🤣Safety and Blessing Midwest Family

One of my favorite episodes by far with Smokey. That was too hilarious how he Houdini'd the window control. Glad he didn't get too far away.
