I went here with my sister in August of 2020 and it was the best. Being welcomed by the beloved characters dancing on the new song on a beautiful clear sunny day was indeed very special. We could literally do every single ride in the park and still have time left to meet Mickey in his theatre and see the Lion King: Rhythm of the Pride Lands show. We will never forget that day as I’m sure you won’t either!

oakwood is a little family owned park. very different to Disney. if its a quiet day you can ride megaphobia all day

I rode Hyperspace mountain in October 2018 and got stuck at the end just at the stars bit. We started singing twinkle twinkle little star and don't stop me now. Good times.
we got a stuck at the part where you’re on a tiny hill and see a spaceship get blown up but we didn’t move we just sat there for 10 minutes haha and i went single rider so i was next to some random man instead of my sister 😭

Hopefully if they open a Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge there they’ll return Space Mountain to its original Jules Verne inspired original theming. It just seems like such a mishmash to have that steampunk theming with Star Wars racked on to it.
Amusement part always gives me this giddy feeling and has for years. I feel like a little kid again. The only other thing that can do this for me is music. You know bands like Delta Parole, that music takes me back the most.

I remember the runaway train, and the stockcar ride back when it was known as Euro Disneyland. The place has been losing money hand over fist for many years. Which is why you're likely being charged €17 for a hotdog.
I was there with my wife and kids February 2020. Before covid 19 all came out. Looks so different to how it was back then.

I remember going to Euro Disney in July 1992 not long after it opened
All the rides were walk on and there were more people in the parade than watching it
Then going back in 2012 and couldn't get moved it was that full

Was there this time last year was hoping to go this year also but with everything going on chickened out of booking it, The q levels were shocking last year but these qs look a lot easier to deal with.

i was supposed to go to disney in june as a trip for finishing GCSE's but it got cancelled so this is making me so emotional, thanks for sharing this video to us who need a little disney pick me up in these terrible times.

Normally when im at ingoldmells i go to butlins with my family and friends and have a clear view of fantasy island but ive never been there so its good to see what is has there.

I went from saturday to Tuesday, the longest queue time was 65 minutes the entire time I was there and it was really worth the money! I would highly recommend it at the minute!

*Sigh* - yes our Hong Kong Disneyland (as well as Ocean Park) are closed again indefinitely due to new cases of COVID in the city, after being open for one month. We wonder now about the 15th Anniversary Celebrations coming up in September with the highlight being the opening of the Castle Of Magical Dreams as well as the return of the fireworks and video show ...

While you been to your regular schenanigens at Disneyland. Me and my friend went to Belgium, to one of my favorite Belgian parks, Walibi Belgium. So I will share with you my experience with this park so you will know what to expect from it if you do want to come in the fufutre:
We arrived at the entrance of the park around opening time. When you arrive, you immediately noticed in the parking lot that there were a lot of employees who sent you in the right direction. Even if you go to the entrance, there are plenty of employees to monitor the visitor flow. We ask in advance whether everyone has a reservation and a long queue has been built in the parking lot with ropes. After that you will be sent to a certain row by a staff member and you can enter smoothly.
The first innovations immediately caught the eye at the entrance. The large Walibi logo above the entrance is without a mascot these days. The statue of the mascot at the entrance has also been replaced by a flower bed. In addition, the corona measures are immediately clear. There is one-way traffic throughout the park, and queues have been created at souvenir shops and only a limited number of people are allowed inside.
Like everyone else who came with us that day, we first went to Karma World. We started our day with a ride on Popcorn Revenge. Every major attraction now has a staff member in front of the entrance. You are required to disinfect your hands when entering the queue and before entering the attraction. Hand dispensers are also located at the exit. Face masks are mandatory in the attractions and also in covered queues, such as here. After only a few minutes of patience, we were able to get into our cart. Because of the corona measures, each company gets its own vehicle.
After our ride in the nice Popcorn Revenge we walked further through the park. Psyké Underground was the first roller coaster we could expect. It was great to finally be able to make rides on this coasters after such a long time. For those of you wondering, face masks stay put while on a roller coaster.
We walked through the park and came to Tiki-Waka. It was still very quiet in the park, so we decided to take a ride. From the attraction we got a good view of the construction site of the new megacoaster and we also saw that the first parts had already arrived in the park.
As I've expected, some attractions remain closed due to the corona measures. The Gold River Adventure, Dragon Boats and Tiki Trail are currently not accessible. Challenge of Tutankhamon was currently experiencing a minor technical glitch. The next attraction we visited was Dalton Terror. Or me alone, since it is not Frederik's favorite attraction type. Here too, unfortunately, a malfunction just occurred when I was in the queue. Due to the measures, I could not leave the line, so I waited patiently while my friend was already doing a round of Calamity Mine. Fortunately, the fault was quickly resolved and I was able to sit in one of my favorite drop towers. Here, too, each group gets its own gondola and they are no longer filled.
After my ride in Dalton Terror we went again towards Calamity Mine. I also noticed that they do not use the regular queue, but they do use the Halloween queue, which runs above the station. This has been extended with crush barriers and winds across the entire square. The queue of several other attractions such as Vampire, Loup-Garou
, Tiki-Waka and Dalton Terror has also been extended so that everyone can keep sufficient distance. In addition, it was noticed that they have given the entire rock work of the attraction a thorough renewal, making Calamity Mine look radiant again. From this attraction you also have a good view of the construction site of the new coaster.
Due to the one-way traffic in the park, we could not go to Flash Back from this side. We wondered if we could go to Pulsar and fortunately a solution has been found for this. This is because the path is divided in two to guarantee one-way traffic. So after a very short wait we enjoyed taking a seat in my favorite roller coaster of the park.
Another favorite of mine in WB is Loup-Garou
. Despite getting a bit rough in recent years, I still think it's a great rollercoaster. We deliberately chose our spot in the middle of the cart so you don't get on the wheels and enjoyed the ride. We also noticed that they had completely disinfected the train for us and had it run an empty lap. They do this several times throughout the day at each attraction, which is a very good measure.
We decided to have something to eat and as we had just returned to the entrance, the choice of a machine gun was quickly made. Then we started our second round through the park. We skipped Cobra and it was a bit too cold for Radja River, so we took a ride on Popcorn Revenge. It just started to rain quite heavily, so the choice for another ride was quickly made.
Fun Pilot, which is new since last year, we had not done today, so it was now the turn. Incidentally. When arrive, it is noticeable that Walibi Belgium does not leave empty spaces in the roller coaster train, but fills everything up reasonably well. Only single rider queues remain closed. I personally do not think this is a bad idea, because mouth masks are mandatory. In addition, you will not lose too much capacity.
We queued up for another ride on Tiki-Waka. Unfortunately, he just went into failure and the queue was evacuated after about fifteen minutes. Tutankhamon was open again, so we walked in there. Unfortunately, the attraction didn't fully work, as some of the moving effects and animatronics were frozen.
Walibi Belgium has a brand new 4D movie since this year. Los Banditos 4D replaces the previous film with the old Walibi mascot. This film used to run in Comics Station Antwerp, but in Walibi I personally find the film less suitable. He speaks to me a lot less about the old film and the effects are scant, although it will certainly be a nice addition for children.
It was not busy in the park and we decided to go for a walk on the woodie of the park, Loup-Garou
. Here, too, people have not been idle last winter. The station has received a new coat of paint, which makes it look very fresh again.
We started our third round through the park with Flash Back as our main goal. Because it was so quiet, we went for a ride in Fun Pilot and Psyké Underground also had a turn. It was also noticeable in the children's zone that all the figures of the old mascots have been removed and some attractions have a new name.
However, due to one-way traffic we were not allowed to exit from Psyké Underground to Flash Back, making it very difficult to get to the park's log flume. Instead we sat down again for Tiki-Waka.
Unfortunately, the weather was not really warm and it did not stay dry. Again the rain fell from the sky, so we took shelter andmy friend decided to go home an hour earlier. I waited a while for the rain to pass and then decided to give the attractions in cowboy village a second round. I started with Calamity Mine and then moved on to Dalton Terror.
We had a bit of time left and walked around the park to take a look at Flash Back. It was very quiet, so it was clear that not many people find their way here. I was also very happy to see that Walibi has partially overhauled the attraction. Several parts have been given a new coat of paint and the effects on the first drop are doing well again.
After my ride Flashback I saw that Pulsar was still open, so the choice for an extra ride was quickly made. I was in the last boat of the day and the great operators of Walibi decided to start it a second time after the ride. It's fantastic to see how Walibi is increasingly doing these kinds of small, customer-friendly things.
The day was over and I went to the exit of the park. I had a very nice day and am pleasantly surprised to see that Walibi Belgium has not been idle last winter. Several things in the park have been refurbished and the progress of the new roller coasterare in full swing, which of course makes us very happy as fans. I am also very happy to see that no expense has been spared in the fight against the corona virus. The park has taken sufficiently strong measures to offer everyone a safe day and there are staff in various places to inform the guests about the rules. Sometimes there are unfortunately people who think that the rules do not apply to them, but of course the park can do little about that. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Walibi Belgium! to ride their Intamin Mega Coaster.

The haunted mansion’s Florida stretching room is gone. It was turned into a waiting area to comply with the social distance mandate. But you can however see the full portraits as the elevator gimmick is put on its lowest level. What the stretching room is a reverse lift system which the room moves but not the floor basically the floor remains stationary while the room lifts up revealing the door and portraits. It’s just an illusion that works well. Old technology. Also when you are in California take a good hard look at the droid at the console on star tours as that is what is left of Sam the Eagle from America Sings one of the early animatronics in Disney’s history. America sings was a little show similar to the carousel of progress that did a lot of songs that entered the American repertoire and are sung a lot just out of the blue. Mostly just minor melodies. The show became captain EO. Then other things, though it’s hard to figure out what is there now. The rest of the animatronics went to California’s Splash Mountain on the river boat with two becoming the wolf and rabbit as they were simply reskinned and given some new movement.
