  • The Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite is the "little" brother to the original $500 Orchestra. And at half the cost... it's kinda better? What else is it better than? I've lived with the IEM for a couple of weeks to find out.

    Super Mark, THANK YOU for this review. I had lusted after an SA6 for a while but, thanks to you, I got the Orchestra Lite a couple weeks ago. I'm over the moon. I'm just listening for enjoyment like most (not pro use) and I don't feel like I want any more or any less of bass, mids or treble. The treble is gentle but the IEM doesn't sound muffled to me. I absolutely LOVE it. This could be end game for me personally 😱🤯

    It is amazing how budget IEMs come so far these days because I just got mine and they blew my old sub $1000 flagship IEMs Solaris and Andromeda in imaging and resolution not bad at all whoa
    Only complaint is mild BA timbre on some songs and weak bass but will hold on to these until I get my Anole V14

    I think in your part ll video you reveal the size of the nozzle/bore without tips and talk a little about it .
    Fit is key on any iem.

    I reqlly enjoy your reviews and especially the fit and comfort element you add, since i apparently have smaller ears than normal. Not that most iems would fit but that they either wouldn't stay in or would be painful for long listening. I would have thought these would cause discomfort for long listening periods.

    I've been eyeing up the Truthear Hexa over the past few months now (your review of it was excellent, by the way) and it sounds like it's one of those IEMs that punches/performs above its $80-$100 price range... Another one that's caught my attention is the Aful Performer5 - obviously in the higher $250 range - and now this Orchestra Lite has me interested as well... My question is: Do you think the $250 Performer5 and Orchestra Lite perform, overall, markedly better than the Hexa ? Or would I be 'losing out' on $170-worth of justified excellence if I went with Hexa ? Thanks !

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  Рік тому +6

      Those three are all good enough that you're missing out no matter what you choose -- but not in some linear good-better-best way, but in a all-good-in-different-ways sorta way. Performer5 and Orchestra Lite are a little bassier than Hexa.

      Do you know what's being talked about? It is the small hole in the iem housing. All iems with DD and Planar need these holes to prevent the driver from flexing when inserted into the ear canal and while working. BA is generally not needed because the way it works is different from DD and Planar.

    • @wiesolos
      @wiesolos Рік тому +3

      It's not about the driver flex. Regardless what type of the transducer tech, there will always be accumulated air pressure that is trapped in the ear canal because all these IEMs transmit sound through air conduction.
