Just picked up a SEL R-Line Premium. Love it. I’ve had an X5, GLE, E-Class… value wise it’s incredible. The handling is really good. Tons of space. Power is surprisingly quick. I think they were conservative on the numbers. Maintenance may not be the cheapest but it’s miles away from Mercedes or BMW. Highly recommended this vehicle. Test drive it before you knock it.
It is nice I just bought the 2024 C-sport SEL and it doesn't disappoint. If I had to complain about anything it would be the fact that they took away the fog lights and for some reason the exhaust tips are fake 😂 but other than that reclining seats in the rear that are heated.
I recently bought a 2018 Atlas SE w tech (3 rows)as my "dependable" daily until I can afford something brand new. This was only because I have 2 kids and 3 large dogs and the 1999 Subaru RS coupe and 2005 Subaru STi just weren't making the cut for my daily needs especially with their mileage over 210k. I'm actually pretty satisfied with what I got minus the fact the my slightly angled driveway caused a no start with more than 1/8 in the tank. My Subarus have been practically empty parked in the driveway and that's never been an issue.
Someone needs to remind VW that putting too many plastic parts as engine components affects the overall reliabilty of the car. They're nice looking cars but way too expensive to maintain. Car reviewers unfortunately do not know about expected reliabilty
I’ve had 4 VW and as a professional mechanic, find them to be very maintenance friendly and inexpensive to maintain compared to many other similar manufacturers
I just bought a 2015 preowned at the dealership the other day. I got them to negotiate to $5000. Only has 100,000 miles. Great condition. Took it to mechanic afterwards and mechanic said whoever the previous owner was took really good care of it.
The same engine is on Jetta Gli, Tiguan, Atlas, change engine oil every 5-6k miles and I will last long, not sure about the engine chain, I might need replacement at ~150k, depending on driving style and maintenance..
I leased the 2020 V6 top of line model, and it just went back. Sad to see the V6 go from the line completely, but it is what it is I guess now a days. Only thing I really liked about it was the room on the inside every which way. Interior quality was meh at best, and it wasn’t fun to drive, but I guess it was never supposed to be.

Nope TY . I do not like digital clustered dashboard. Gimme a good old manual tranny, regular key, fob no Ty. Good engine, a reg parking brake. No gadgets

Got my R-Line AWD in Platinum Grey, and I love it. In the city, eco mode is an awesome drive. I'm looking forward to my Sedona trip.

I had a 2023 Q8 and noticed the backseat in the Atlas has a nearly flat floor. The Q8 does not. My Q8 has 23 speakers and it is fast for its size.

The 4 banger has no power and the v6 is a gas hog and not quick. Yes the same 4 banger in the tiguans.
