Very informative regarding the different denominations but the most important thing is that we follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ so that we will enter into His kingdom

That has not been my experience. I have yet to find a protestant denomination that isn't Paulian to its core. I don't know much about catholicism but I do know that it absolutely does not follow Christ's teachings.

OK, following Christ. Protestantism/Catholicism. One is true and original. The other is in rebellion to it. If Catholicism failed then Jesus failed and lied that it would not. The entire platform on which Protestantism sits is faulty and in rebellion to Jesus.
If you don't know much about Catholicism then you cannot make the statement "but I do know that it absolutely does not follow Christ's teachings."

@@cherylmcelveen2817 Religion is a dangerous thing, especially monotheism. Eventually those Christians who feel as though those teachings aren't being followed will enforce those things (they did once before and will do it again). When Islam becomes more favorable in the West, the Wester christians are going to lose their everlastig minds and many will turn back to religion like Christianity.... then we got genocide and death, war and conquest, you know the whole purpose of the Church. Christians are no different than Muslims, the difference between the two is at least Muslims follow their religion. Christians know nothing about their religion.

Excellent overview! The number of denominations is overwhelming. My goal is to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), immerse in the Word and keep Jesus as my focal point, my anchor. As stated in this video, the nuances of *how* we worship is not the focus; it's *Who* we worship. It stands to reason that worship in other parts of the world will be different due to the difference in cultures. The Lord knows our heart; He knows when we hold Him first. I believe those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will not be sinless, but they *can* sin less. Jesus paid the ultimate price to reconcile us to Himself; He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

@TheBibleStoriesYT Thank you. This provides a great service for Catholics and other Christians wanting to know the differences in a succinct format. It is helpful for teaching people who are seeking guidance. The illustrations are delightful. By the way, Luther didn't actually nail his theses or thesis to a door. That is a metaphor. His documents were already in discussion and dialogue with bishops. They knew what he taught. They accepted some of his corrections. The real reason for separation was political. Germany did not want to be under Rome. The Catholic Church reformed itself with the Catholic Reformation. Catholics also have secondary or non-biblical sources, called Tradition. They also provide extensive guidance and contemporary moral teaching.

    Chinese whispers come to mind.
I came to Christ some 4 months ago. I went to my local village church which is an Orthodox.
Having read the Bible, they are doing things that are going against the Bible, so I left on the 18th Aug.
I've been looking around for a few weeks looking at different churches and their belief.
I look at what they preach and believe and find every church does the same thing?
I'm in my early 60's and came from a Christian family. My family are Jehovah's Witnesses (I was never baptized or one of them)
To me, the Bible is very clear on what is being said yet every place of worship does the same, goes against the Bible, and starts adding their views, ways, and laws.
The Orthodox Church I went to would not baptize me without answering their questions and filling out a form. I asked them where is that written in the Bible. They replied "it's how we do it here"
Oh, I said "why don't we do it Jesus's way and not your way"
I guess now, I will continue reading and studying the Bible alone with prayer and asking God to send the Holy Spirit to show me the way.
Look at the CofE, allowing gay clergy, female clergy, same-sex marriage, and now even dropping the word 'church' and it will just get worse I dare say.
Put your trust in the Lord, not in men.

Only the Apostles knows what He teaches them ! So, you mis 99% of the teaching of God the Saviour thas you do not find in your bible ! And this "Baptist's Belivers Baptism" could be equated to what we call Confirmation, where we profess our faith and have the Holy Spirit sealed into us. We are typically a little bit older. For instance, in a town, could it be refreshing, and more cost effective, to build one building instead of many. Instead of building more buildings, that same money could go toward bettering the society and helping those that need it the most. That body of believers would have 3 things in common. If they love God, they love their neighbor, and they accept Jesus as their savior, that might just be enough to unify them all.

How about just reading the Bible fervently and develop a relationship with Christ where you pray during times of need, but also praying during good times as well as bad ones. Overall, prayer is communication with God directly. So prayer should be done at any time during the day no matter what the reason is. And repenting is the key point in acknowledging your sins before God, followed by a sincere change of heard and reading God's Word daily. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
    Ephesians 4:4‭-‬6 KJV
When the people heard this, they were deeply troubled and said to Peter and the other apostles, “What shall we do, brothers?” Peter said to them, “Each one of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God's gift, the Holy Spirit. For God's promise was made to you and your children, and to all who are far away-all whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” Peter made his appeal to them and with many other words he urged them, saying, “Save yourselves from the punishment coming on this wicked people!” Many of them believed his message and were baptized, and about three thousand people were added to the group that day. They spent their time in learning from the apostles, taking part in the fellowship, and sharing in the fellowship meals and the prayers.

I wrote you in my [previous] letter not to associate with [sexually] immoral people- not meaning the immoral people of this world, or the greedy ones and swindlers, or idolaters, for then you would have to get out of the world and human society altogether! But actually, I have written to you not to associate with any so-called [Christian] brother if he is sexually immoral or greedy, or is an idolater [devoted to anything that takes the place of God], or is a reviler [who insults or slanders or otherwise verbally abuses others], or is a drunkard or a swindler-you must not so much as eat with such a person. For what business is it of mine to judge outsiders (non-believers)? Do you not judge those who are within the church [to protect the church as the situation requires]? God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside [the faith]. Remove the wicked one from among you [expel him from your church].
      1 Corinthians 5:9‭-‬13 AMP

When the Judgment Day comes, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! In your name we spoke God's message, by your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles!’ Then I will say to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!’

The Catholic Church is not a denomination it is the Church. All others are denominations established by men like Martin Luther John Calvan and others. For 1500 years after Christ the early Church was the Catholic Church. Referencing Dr. Scott Hann Apologist Tim Staples Apologist Dr. Taylor Marshal and many other converts to The Church. After Martin Luther today there are over 42,000 denominations. Church established by Christ one Holy Catholic Church or the breakaway churches established by men?

Talking about the Orthodox Church, author names Greek, Russian and Serbian churches. Greek church was founded in the first century, but Russia became orthodox in the 10th century. The Orthodox Church of Georgia is one of the oldest churches in the world. It asserts apostolic foundation, and that its historical roots can be traced to the early and late Christianization of Iberia and Colchis by Andrew the Apostle in the 1st century AD and by Saint Nino in the 4th century AD, respectively. Russians didn’t even have the alphabet, which was created for them by the Greek missionaries, Cyril and Methodius in the tenth century. Russians occupied Georgia and assumed it’s place in the dyptichs. Before Russian baptism, Many countries became orthodox. Constantine the great was born on the Serbian territory in the three hundreds.Ukrainians assert their connection to Apostle Andrew. Bulgaria, Romania also begin their history to the first century. In the Bible, God describes the process by which he cleanses the church, as a smelting as if of metals. He describes heating the metal/church and skimming off the dross with each cycle of heating. The dross is the cleansing of the filth and impurities from the metal, and the refining of the metal. Therefore, each time the Protestant Church bifurcates in an effort to cleanse the dross, it is part of the refining process.
Jesus also warned that ravenous wolves would enter into the church disguised as sheep and would fleece the flock, molest the lambs, and scatter the flock. And that is exactly what has happened!
Up until the 3rd century, the church was made up of Jewish Christians who led in the conversion of Gentiles to the Christian sect of Judaism. But the Roman wolves, dressed as sheep, entered into the Jewish Christian flock, fleece the flock, began to molest the lambs, and scattered the sheep into different denominations.
Each of these denominations struggle to purge themselves of the false teachings of the Roman Church and find their way back to fundamental Christianity which is actually fundamental Torah teaching.
Jesus was a fundamental Torah teacher. He taught the basic principles of God's teachings. He taught in open fields, in homes, in humble synagogues. Jesus did not teach the construction of magnificent cathedrals, grossly ornate churches, or governmental structures like the Vatican where the pope sits on a golden throne. Jesus taught humility. He did not accumulate wealth, but slept outside under the stars in the Garden of Gethsemane. This is quite the opposite of most churches today.

As for the rebels even some of them might find salvation. If telling the truth makes me a "scoffer" then so be it.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's true that Jesus prayed for unity among His followers, and the diversity in denominations can be quite overwhelming. However, many believe that this diversity can also enrich our understanding of faith. It's important to focus on the core message of love and grace that unites us all. What are your thoughts on how we can bridge these differences?

I'll tell you what denominations are about . Ego driven nonsense that keeps Christians from coming together as a whole to worship God ! It causes everyone to argue their religious beliefs dividing us instead of bringing us together in the service of God !

Thank you for your comment! It's interesting to think about the play on words with "denom" and "demon." It's always important to approach these topics with discernment. If you have any specific thoughts or questions about demonization in the Bible, feel free to share! We love hearing from our viewers. 😊

If christianity is a religion from God, why is there so many versions of Christianity.

Because it's a religion *for* people. It's not *from* anything.

Christianity is from God and he established one church. You are confusing Christianity with Protestantism which is not from God but from rebellious man.

The speaker thinks that his assessment of the faithfulness of Catholics determines something. It doesn't except maybe for those poor Catholics he witnessed. Truth is the only thing that matters and the truth is that Jesus established the Catholic Church. He promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against it and he promised the spirit of truth to be with its leaders forever. And the truth is that Protestantism restored nothing but it invented heresies. It is not protected in truth and hell succeeds in splitting it up almost daily.

I'm really not interested in the numerous christian denominations. What I do believe is that everyone of them are incorrect and unable to prove gad exists (at least without credible evidence). I also know not any one of those denominations can agree on the same doctrines. Christianity is not the most populist of religions. It is Hindu and than Muslim.

The Catholic Church is not a denomination. Denominations began in the 16th century. The Catholic (universal) Church began in 33 AD

Too many seeking truth *fail to find* because they're easily *led astray* by worldly logic, sensuality, vain esoterism or specious mysticisms. *I know I was.*
I'm an ex neo-vedantic (hindu roots) new ager. I used to be into so much "cosmic/spiritual" stuff: trance channelings, ancient wisdom, gnosticism, psychedelic drugs, hindu gurus and buddhist variants. I was illuminated by the *kundalini (serpent) spirit* then 8 years ago I got rightly enlightened by the *Holy Spirit* - which proceeded to show me what a *fool* I was before..... Spirit led to the REAL *Yahusha/Jesus Christ* and everything changed - *Paradigm Shifted* .....
This is being *BORN AGAIN* (John 3) and it's an ongoing surprise to me 😁
Turns out Spirituality is a *soul serious* business taken way too lightly by *far too many* ....
The End-Times are clearly *dead ahead,* a time of Antichrist is near.
It escapes the notice of our self-absorbed, glamour-saturated world that we're in a spiritual WAR for souls. The immensity of *ignorance* is astonishing: supernal powers are BEDAZZLING the minds of the masses (Ephesians 6:12). We've inherited ancient spiritual subversion: *the Earth is fallen* ..... the holistic fields of nature are fallen state; *"Morphic Resonance"* is OUT of affinity with DIVINITY; *Death is all too familiar;* Natural life hunts, KILLS and *feeds* on itself.
Humanity is a spiritually *fallen race* highly prone to *deceit and delusion.*
FRANKLY, we need a SAVIOUR and by Jesus Christ we have a GREAT ONE
As a new ager I couldn't believe (I was *damn sure* I knew better) but in the *Light of Spirit* Jesus really is the *Way, the truth and the Life* just like He said: no one comes to GOD except through Jesus, there's no other way (Matthew 7:13-14). Being a neo-vedantist I wasn't convinced, yet the Bible is Spirit breathed, written by men inspired by the *Holy Spirit.* Jesus is vividly portrayed and endorsed in the new testament, in fact he's apparent in the old testament too (Luke 24:27 & 44) and by *His LIGHT* we're allowed to *see* that and *know Him.* Any intellectual concerns or previously perceived discrepancies/contradictions are ironed out and the supernatural narrative flows most beautifully.....
    The Bible is the Revelation of *Jesus Christ* (Isaiah 2:2-4; 9:6-7, 11:1-10 & 45:23, Daniel 7:13-14, Matthew 28:18, Mark 14:61-62, Revelation 1:7-8 & 18, Rev 19:11-21)
