💙 JP, these videos have been occupying me through some awful migraines, having something else to concentrate on along with the bees sound seems to help distract me from the pain.
the kids haven’t been in school for months now and looks like they might not this fall. Your a great asset to our daily learning. Can I suggest you make a video of a nest and what they do looking at the bees closely, and explaining what they are doing. Love your videos.
I love watching you work. And this was really unusual too, which made it even better! Those bees were working HARD to move air up in that ceiling space. Keep it up Jeff! Watching every day for more from you.
Those girls be like wow finally a boy who can save us not like these useless drones we have in here LOL . Thank you for your dedication to the bees and all the hard work you put into saving these vital insects as well as the time and money you put into creating these videos . I just also want to add I think it is great when you are taking stuff apart to access the bee’s you do as little damage as possible even in this structure which will probably be torn down . Much respect JP god bless .
oh my god! I have been watching your vedios and learned so much. a swarm just came in at work and took over the inside of a canipy pole. I took my phone and very gently put it in the hole and took a vedio. the adrenaline is so high I feel like I could fly. if you get this kind of rush each time you remove a hive or catch a swarm I KNOW who you do what you do. I do not know how to get it from my phone to you or I would send it to you. thank you greatly for your vedios and what they teach and what a person can learn. I learned that with a new swarm the bees are USUALLY not pissey and I was very cautious on aproaching them to see how they would act. the we're very gentel. thank you again
I love his passion for what he does. Always “beautiful” and “amazing”, and he pulls out his camera to take pictures which I’m sure go in his wallet. Great videos!

Didn't know it got too hot for bees. Thanks for the educational information. I just thought they would move their houses/hives to better environments to stay away from people for the most part. Have a great day
I've been watching your videos since you started posting them and it inspired me to get a hive ... I got it this spring and now have a fat bottom queen with a thriving hive. :)
@@livefree810 Being in Michigan makes us the last to see our bees but I do have some flying and next week I plan to do a hive check. I'll try to get a new video of it.
I absolutely love your video...but the audio really needs some work! I know there are background noises that can't be avoided on site...but they can be edited out.

I sing in the Arcadian Chorale and use a Sony ICD-MX20 to record rehearsals by placing it on the piano to capture the music from the pianist. People who have tried other brands comment about the superior quality of the recordings.
We're the ones outside and on the shimmed part moving their wings so fast to cool the hive? Seems I've read that somewhere. Glad you're saving them. Thank you for all you do.
I just can't believe you do all of this with absolutely no extra protection to yourself ...on average for working on a removal of a nest this size how many times will you be stung ? I am in shock every time I watch one of your removals haha never ceases to amaze me Jp!
Also Best Buy price matches amazon. I got a memory card that was in store for 100$, on sale on amazon for 20$. The clerk even told me it was crazy, but still he couldn’t argue with store policy. I had to show him on my phone that was the only part so they could honor it.
Another person commented that your videos influenced them to buy a box and start keeping bees. Man as soon as I can get enough yard space, it's on baby!!!
JP, do you use a Bushkill Bee Vac? I have one but no idea how to set it up, and I haven't found a video that explains it very well. Be cool if you could do a video on that. I'm a simple man who needs simple instructions. Thank you sir.
After watching these bee videos, I am no longer afraid of honey bees. I'm still afraid of hornets and wasps, but not the honeybees. What do you treat the stings with?
Nice work JP. I noticed a lot of the bee fannings from the top outside 2x4 before you opened up the inside which made me think the queen was on the comb. The comb was really light colored cause it was new comb ? Anyways nice job .
Our worst fears are confirmed! The Giant Asian Hornet has been introduced to North America. Initial port of entry was somewhere in the state of Washington. Any advice or comment from JP The Beeman?
Raymond Ward we started a discussion yesterday I believe it was on my Facebook page titled JPthebeeman & Friends. Time will tell the tale on the giant Asian hornet’s impact on our honey bee colonies & our lives in general. Too soon to tell how we will be affected just yet but apparently they’ve been reported before the big article hit the presses yesterday & people are commenting about their experiences, none which are good btw. They are formidable insects though no doubt, approximately 5 times larger than honey bees & can wipe out a honey bee colony of 30,000 individuals in hardly any time, like a few hours. Fingers crossed they don’t spread fast or even take a legitimate foothold in North America as there just doesn’t seem to be any beneficial value to them that I can see. 😬

JPthebeeman From what I understand through videos is that Giant Hornets’ favorite habitat is the forest. But that is from watching videos
I wish there was no music, no dis RESPECT
Strange situation can only guess you're right about ceiling being too hot and they moved.
Seems to make the most sense if you think about it & I believe the facts speak for themselves. 😉
When you have bees on top of your catchbox and you are transport them do you lose them ?
Lawrence Dembowski no, they hang on, as long as you don’t drive like a mad man.
