Always with my mouth watering on your reviews..but, I think I'm not the only one, wishing to see you guys on a blind taste once..it would be even educational as well. 🥃
Very interesting bottle. I like the way you've been mixing up the format. Love the older expressions mostly, but a current version once in awhile is awesome to. Great review.
Fantastic review as always, 1980's was like the glory years for scotch. Everyone was into vodka and gin mixed drinks and the quality of bourbon and scotch was amazing. I do have a request for you guys, if you guys have a local total wine can you guys review Shieldaig highland malt? It is 3-5 year old Taliskar. It is my very fav budget malt. It is around 20 bucks per bottle. 40% chill filtered added color. Still though it has brine and peat and salt best cheap dram. I buy it by the case lol.
@@maltreviews Buy it, you don't have to do a review on it. I have done a review on it and it is interesting. I think you guys would enjoy it though and its also interesting to see what Taliskar is like at a young age in crappy casks. The thing is Taliskar at a young age is fantastic as long as they don't over speed the distilation it is amazing. The best thing about Taliskar is it is good at 3-50 years old an amazing malt! 18 bucks a bottle at 40% its so nice. You guys dont need to review it, kinda boring i know but I can tell you i did a blind with this and storm and I prefer the Shieldaig over the storm. Cheers fam.
@@maltreviews they can use pax again, but it's about the name it would receive. Would they have to drop scotch or also whisky? I dont care about the name, i would buy that spirit of high quality.
You guys are the best.
Thanks Brother!

I didn't even know this bottle existed. Did the 10yr cask strength replace it ?
Yes it was this, then the 10 yr cask strength, then the cask strength with full red label, then the cask strength that a lot of us have tried.

Another interesting history tasting
Thank you! Investing in older whiskies is like going to a nice University and getting a history degree. Either way, your in debt. LOL
@@maltreviews Maybe investing is the wrong word :-)
Hahahah. I remember when you made creme brûlée’s obsessively in college!,, you’ve always had amazing taste buds!
Glenlivet 18 on Horaks bday is what started it all my friend.
Leeesssssgoooo lads 🥃
Cheers Trevor!
Great review dudes, thanks :)
Thank you! Cheers!
whats the glasses lads? I really like these but can't recon.
They are the snifter glasses from Crate & Barrel. Very inexpensive.
Guys, how do you guys feel about using paxarete again? And let it age...Why not? U could still name it single malt whisky.
I wish man. We would love it if they can use Pax again.

@@apudegeest Yah I wouldn't care either but a lot politics involved there so it wont happen.
