Usually these special news segments on specialty topics like cars, wine, etc are cringe and clueless. But credit to Jeff, this started out very layman’s terms and gradually went deeper, highlighting lesser known producers and articulating the differences in regions very well. Nice touch on including Kavalan from Taiwan, for serious collectors they’re highly regarded despite being from a largely unproven region. Also the Singhs’ home country of India is now making some superb whiskies, look for higher end bottlings of Amrut and Paul John, they’re young but really solid.
I’ve purchased many bottles of spirits from the Whiskey Exchange and I live in Los Angeles. I soooo wish they will open a location stateside so I wouldn’t have to pay such high shipping and customs costs.
I have been to shop many times on London bridge on my way to work, even bought a small bottle of glenvielt for my birthday, did not know it was bought of online franchis4

The British Isles? *SCOTLAND!
Irish Whisky is pretty big too. But they did reference Scotch as the “gold standard.”
This guy just got paid to travel to a different country to sample and talk about whisky... great. 😏
How about a story on tequila? Yumbolicious!!
I’ve had bad luck with the Whiskey Exchange. High shipping and a leaking cork on a bottle of Octomore. Very poor customer service.
FASINATING FACTS

Tequila is way better and cheaper

Not very sustainable. It’s made from blue agave cactus and they take years to grow
whiskey can be cheap too
