Honestly this is my favorite intro. Not my favorite song though that goes to Vol 5 but damn close second.

This volume was so heavy on reminding us Weiss and Ruby were besties and that while Ruby looked out for everyone: she looked out for Ruby.
…glad to see they entirely forgot that as soon as we hit Vol 7-9.
I think the guitar in the beginning and then at the end is just the best.
As someone who just (binge) watched the series for the first time last week, I'm not as mad as everyone else. This is one of my favorite openings.

Out of all the intros this one went the hardest. Way better than volume 8's
Especially the fight scene.. All the stances in the start seconds until the last seconds were great.

The drums give me eargasms and the imagery of Salem being the lightning (a destructive force of nature and Ospin being a stable force of helping humanity) goosebumps. Ugh. Fuck when this show does good they do GOOOD!!!! Seriously wish they put more passion and effort into it in later seasons

Hey we all have are own options about things this is an awesome intro but there are a lot of good intros out there and if some one thinks it the best then let them love it and think it’s the best don’t push things on people.

This is the best opening since volume 1. You know an opening is good when its used at various points in the score and works great.
I am rewatching the series from the beginning. Just got halfway through part 2 of volume 4. I have not seen volume 6 yet. So this trailer made my day. So glad they released whole volumes. Also might drop some dough and by the DVD box set just to show some support to the guys who brought us this awesome series. RIP Monty. Your legacy lives on, and I'm glad your creative genius brought RWBY to the world.

Volume 5 was arguably the 'weakest' volume by many fans and critics, but Volume 6 we saw more story and development on characters

This is and probably will stay my all time favorite volume since the original trilogy, its really fun and still has a lot of what I liked from volume 4 and 5, the multiple angles and perspectives from different locations over the course of a single episode

If you compare this intro theme at the beginning to the volume 1 intro theme at the beginning, you'll notice how similar they sound. Moreover, the volume 6 intro kind of expands on the theme. It's kind of like a new reset, which would match the themes for the season since everyone is back together.
I feel like RWBY Needs An anti hero and by that i mean Raven she can be redeemable
she is so cool!

I'll be brutally honest with you. I legit thought Neo was coming back the first time I saw the intro (you know when volume 6 just came out) when I saw a hooded figure and Torchwicks hat and was pissed when I knew the figure was Cinder but was happy when Neo did come back and fight Cinder.
