Frozen Serenade is a masterpiece, and belongs in a museum. Unbelievable. That’s Midori, the guitarist you mentioned you liked. Her nickname given to her by the band is “Crazy Shredder.” Glory to the World uses religious symbolism, but they’re not a religious band. The song was written to give hope during the pandemic. Glad you’re enjoying the band! Depending on what you’d like to see next I suggest Thunder Vengeance (live from 2020, a favorite of mine, show opener from 2020 and a little similar to Break the Wall, as it is also thrash), Soldier Stands Solitarily (their fastest song, and most technical), or maybe if you want a music video, try Stand and Deliver (it has a fun studio outtake section, and it’s from their newest full album).
How can a band full of religious people not be a religious band? How can a church full of Satanic people not be Satanic? To answer your main question, no, they're not a "Christian band", your crush Midori was just inspired (musically) by gospel singers she met in US churches. This song is dedicated to the fans during hard times (at the height of Covid-19 pandemic) as an uplifting song for hope and humanity to the world. The christian references are merely metaphorical, although that poor man's Orlando Bloom should probably play a Jesus figure.
They should just have put him a bow on his back so he looks more like Legolas and that would make it maybe a bit more clear to the rest of the world, and especially americans, that for most japanese people christian mythology is just fantasy like Lord of the Rings for example.
For some reason, my post where I told that most religious people in Japan are Shinto or maybe Buddhist was removed. Finding Christian bands in Japan is probably hard.
Information adicional: Names of the Band Members: Drummer: Haruna Bassist: Miho (Band leader) 1 Guitar: Midori (Blonde hair) 2 Guitar: Miyako (Dark hair) known as the "Golden Touch" Singer: Asami
Your crush, Midori wrote the music for Glory to the World. She says she was inspired by Gospel and American Baptist Church music. Fun fact, so was Rock n Roll in general. She’s such an enigmatic character and one of my favorites.
First, i always wonder if Asami took that chorus line ("Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all") from Whitney Houston or George Benson who original wrote "The greatest love of all". Whitney : ua-cam.com/video/IYzlVDlE72w/v-deo.html Lovebites : ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html Second. they are not from the USA, so for sure they are not religious as many americans think they are these days (i think Japan is in the top 10 of the most atheist countrys). And if it would mostly be Buddah and not Christianity . And here is just binged some numbers to see if im right or wrong with that : "According to the 2022 edition of the Religion Yearbook by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in Japan, the religion percentages in Japan are: Shinto: 48.5% Buddhism: 46.3% Christianity: 1.0% Other various religions: 4.0%" So 1% in Japan are christian .. how high are the chances for a group of 5 ? In general japanese however often use christian elements as what it really is IMHO : a kind of fantasy, just like Lord of the Rings or whatever. In "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (famous anime) for example the evil invader robots are called "angels" ..

@LEO_IS_VIBINGG ...also Japanese culture in and of it's self is a big part of the problem for this, one thing about their culture is that higher value is placed on the older generation thus ALOT of the big decisions end up coming from them and their ideas even if the younger generation may have any better ideas, this is obviously not always the case, but it is how things do tend to go and A good portion of alot of companies in general in Japan are headed up by a bunch of boomers and gen Xers who are still stuck in the late 80s and early 90s which to be fair was a VERY difficult time for the country economically and times are different today, but like I said they are still stuck back in those days, thus it's on us fans to give that "little push" to show these suits that they are leaving money on the table

As a number of commentators have pointed Lovebites is not a religious or faith based band. This song however, with its heavy use of Christian mythology often confuses reactors.... especially American reactors who are pretty much indoctrinated from birth in Christian theology. Lovebites, in common with a great deal of modern Japanese art and culture, borrows a great deal from other cultures around the world. In their songs you'll hear references to Greek, Norse, Buddhist, Shinto and Christian mythology but it doesn't indicate any affiliation to any particular religion. The only time I've ever come across anything remotely attributable to their own personal religious beliefs was in a vlog posted by the dark haired guitarist Miyako when she, dressed beautifully in a kimono, left an offering and a prayer at a Shinto shrine. Even that is not necessarily indicative of religious conviction however. In Japan it is as much a matter of custom and tradition to pay homage to Shinto ceremony rather than a belief structure.
Babymetal, Band-Maid AND Lovebites? This sounds like a good channel! Now add: Nemophila 'G.O.D.' Hanabie 'We Love Sweets' This would complete my Essential Female J-rock list!😂🤘✌️👊

LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics & credits:
Crystal tears Falling from the skies
Veiling fears The emptiness inside
Time is just passing by
Killing me under the soft twilight
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
One life ends
And one life begins
Evanesce
To our origins
When I'm lost on my way
Lead my heart and guide me with your grace
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away
All living things are precious and irreplaceable
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky
If only I could wish to see you once more

Everything around us will fall into dark
When you keep on looking into the sadness
Nobody in this world may ever be free
My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath
But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light in this world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings
A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow
A blur in the future, the fear of unknown
There will come a time where we can leave everything behind
Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky
Together we will make it through this deep night
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
SOLO: midori / miyako / both
And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together,
Nothing more precious

MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - Yoshu Fukushu A VERY influential band in Japan. The drummer from Band Maid, Akane, did not know girls were allowed to play rock drums until she saw Nao from MTH playing.
TRiDENT - Kickass
Wagakki Band - Senbonzakura (1,000 cherry blossoms) They play both western and traditional Japanese instruments.
Gacharic Spin - Mindset
Stereopony - Hitohira no Hanabira
Unlucky Morpheus - CADAVER/REVADAC They play the first song, CADAVER, then play it backwards note for note, REVADAC. And they have a heavy metal violinist, Jill.
DOLL$BOXX - Take My Chance
Bridear - Light In The Dark
Nemophila - Dissension
Li-Sa-X Band - Looking Up To You Li-Sa-X is a legit child prodigy on guitar. There are vids of her at 8 years old, absolutely shredding on guitar.
ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! - Dian Ci Long feat. Namichie x Submarine They don't play instruments, they play CRT monitors, bar code readers, electric fans.
POLYSICS - Rocket If DEVO had been formed in Japan, they would be POLYSICS.
Omg sooooo many bands 😂 thank you
nice reaction , more Lovebites 🔥🎸💯🫶
"The Greatest Love Of All" Originally recorded by George Benson but lyrics written by Linda Creed as the main theme for the Muhammad Ali biopic "The Greatest".
"The lyrics of the song were written in the midst of her struggle with breast cancer. The words describe her feelings about coping with great challenges that one must face in life, being strong during those challenges whether you succeed or fail, and passing that strength on to children to carry with them into their adult lives."
"[Linda] Creed died of breast cancer on April 10, 1986, at age 37."

Maybe the tuffest job for a reactor is to resist binge listening the entire Lovebites or Band-Maid catalogue, 🤩🤩🤩
FACTS 😂 I gotta keep some for future reactions but I HATE being patient 😂
Babymetal, Band-Maid AND Lovebites?
This sounds like a good channel!
Now add:
Nemophila 'G.O.D.'
Hanabie 'We Love Sweets'
This would complete my Essential Female J-rock list!😂🤘✌️👊
Both these bands on my radar for reactions 🩷
If you have a crush, don't check out her fitness competition pics. I just like her whammy bar technique. Stand & Deliver or Winds of Transylvania for example
Yeah I heard she's also an athlete 😭 what a legend
@LEO_IS_VIBINGG she really is one of my favorite guitar players with the tremolo bar.
You are being yourself. That's nice. No weird and phony histrionics or clever analysis that isn't quite right. Thanks.
Thank you, I don't see the point, I do video analysis to go deep, and video reactions to have fun and discover new music. I'm glad people enjoy both. 🫰
Can you please check out Curious Dancear and Superwoman It's Live of Unis? If you want emotional songs then their rendition of Way 4 Luv, Dream of girls and Shiny stars is a must listen. Divine performance if you asks me
If you like Symphonic metal you must listen to Nightwish with the amazing vocals of Floor Jansen. Their song are fabulous.
Keeping that in my future reacs folder 🤭
There are much better Symphonic metal band then "nw" (small letters). They never played with Symphonic orchestra.
THANK YOU FOR REACING TO THE BEST FEMALE BAND IN THE WORLD❤

Thanks for reaction LB
Yo Leo, Korean Rock queens Rolling Quartz will be doing two shows in France on 24th & 25th January.... Highly recommend checking them out, Fearless is their most popular song, Azalea is my fav at the moment.
They aren't overtly christian, however this is about the 2nd coming. They do many anthems, so God and heaven are mentioned from time to time.
Thanks for reacting to the second best band in the world
what's the first ???
@LEO_IS_VIBINGG Band Maid of course. 😅
