Hi Hope. I’m sick and found your channel today so I’m binge watching your videos in bed. I love your colored hair. It’s the best. I’m taking Lisa’s flower farming course right now. Yesterday was the first day of class. Nice to meet you. Glad I found your families channel.
I’d love to see you go through the varieties of the opposite - the warm season flowers. Which sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, verbena, etc will you be planting? 😊
Nice vid. I must say I've come to the conclusion that it's virtually hopeless putting tiny seedlings into freezing soil in early spring. If they're not transplanted into still-warm soil in autumn, it's better to wait till early summer when the soil has warmed up. Soil temperature is a much overlooked and underrated indicator. I'm in Australia and about to sow seed for over-wintering. I hope you had a good season!
Haha, so timely, I just ordered Lisa’s book. I’m in 5A/6, curious to find out what annuals are hardy here, Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada 🌷
I laughed out loud when you said you weren't going to do lisianthus. I don't have room to start inside so it's not when I've worked with yet... Considering buying some bulbs but they seem like so much work!
Thanks for the video! I will try sowing a few cool flowers this fall and see where it gets me! PS. How did your roses do this year? Did Lady of Shallot remind you of Anne's hair? :)
Hello. Love your segment. I have a question for you: I am from New York but I now reside in a zone 10B with pretty much no fall and no winter😭… When would it be the best time to sow Forget-Me-Not seeds (Not the Chinese variety)? Please advise. Thanks.
Thank you for the great video, I’m a new sub as I am in zone 8 as well. I didn’t see sweet peas. According to the book they are cool season flowers for zone 7 and up. Do you plant those? If so when?
Loved the video.
Thank you for this information. It was really informative 🌹🌹💚💚
I found another zone 8 gardener! Yay 😁
Thank you !
This was a very good video. I am planting like this this year for the first time. Excited!

We don’t have any experience with your zone but my guess would be plant them when it’s coolest. Sorry I can’t be more help.
