- The Blend Tool is a powerful tool which allows you to create quick and easy blends in Adobe Illustrator. In this quick tip screen cast, I'm going to show you how to create a sunset using primarily the Blend Tool.

Nice tutorial! My old CS3 Illustrator is struggling with the blend now and then but I managed to get a decent result. Cool tip with the brush for the leaves.
My blend tool isn't giving me the same results. I get a solid color between each of my colors when I use it.

My blend mode does not bring the same results... is there settings linked to the blend tool seperately(eg Preferences??) I am using illustrator cc...Thank you in advance.
I can't figure out why my radial gradient sun is always "bandy" (I have smooth colour in the options -- is there another setting I'm missing? The first part with the sky gradients worked fine with the blends.
Change it to specified distance.
