Shout out to all the other self taught designers out there! Thanks Dansky!
Me too 😊
We need all the love
I Love your stuff. I'm a digital illustrator focusing on artwork now and not graphics. I use Illustrator every day for a living, and print out of Photoshop, as an old AirBrush artist I enjoy the line work In illustrator it reminds me of all the line work I had to do to sketch out the work on paper. I just discovered your UA-cam channel by happenstance and I want to thank you for some of the fun tricks, a lot of them I had figured out on my own but you have come up with things I had never thought about and I wanna thank you.
Thanks so much Kevin, really appreciate it mate 🙂
I always admired people who can create something like this. Never in my mind I could visualize this and create it.
Learned a lot of new things.. not just 13! Amazing!
Awesome!
Very good!
It's amazing how much refinement those two highlights added to the overall look.
Thank you! Yea, the more subtle details can sometimes make a big difference 👍
You just made my life easier. Thank you for this great tutorial. Very short and to the point.
I am glad I found this channel. I am still starting out with graphic design. I am so excited about the process. I've been using Canva now i wanna chill with the big boss
Awesome! Welcome 😊
Dansky, thank you so much for explaining the process as you go along. You have so much great knowledge, and I thank you for sharing it. I have seen so many other tutorials that don't explain anything, they even have music turned on instead of explaining the process. Again, thank you.
You're welcome sir 👍 Great to know that the video has been helpful 😊
best teacher ever! Thank you.
Thanks, I learned a lot, you're channel is really awesome!
This is really amazing 😍
These are excellent *Vector Graphics Techniques* which should not be confused with *Logo Design* as that is an entirely different process and is not dependent upon software.
Big thanks from Morocco . It's very helpful

You're welcome 😊
I learn alot from this channel🔥🔥🥳
Glad to hear it 🙌🙂
Great video Danksy!
Just one question: Why did you choose the shapebuilding tool instead of the pathfinder? Doesn't the last one save you a lot of work by just splitting the shapes? Or does that have any negative effects?
Thanks Julian! 😊 Typically, I use the shape builder tool for more intricate areas of a design, especially if I need to twist and turn the cursor to combine segments. The pathfinder panel is generally better suited to combining simpler shapes, and also lots of shapes in one click, where more detailed work isn’t required 👍
Thanks for the tips
You're welcome Sawad 🙂
Watching from Nepal 🇳🇵
Cool, man. Thanks.

Amazing Video
Thanks!
You are good sir
Just found your channel....thank god! ;)
Welcome! 😊
Great
I wish illustrator follow the super intuitive bezier path tools of coreldraw. It lays out everything regarding path manipulation in a nice toolbar on top.
mantap ilmunya
Super
you're really good
I appreciate that thank you :)
Great tutorial, btw what is the name of the music ?!
Thanks A Million I got New UA-cam Channel from this video to help me
good sir
great video
Thanks!
The ability toeasily move a point on a path will be a relief.
thanks so much @foreverdansky. following your tutorials helped me a great deal when using illustrator. and i like your fun way of teaching. thanks 💯
You're very welcome! 🔥😊
Small tip, double click your shape builder tool and you can change your gap tolerance rather than changing the paths to intersect.
Another thing I like to do when aligning straight lines off a circle is to rotate the circle by x degrees, so that one of the circles path anchor point ends out where you want your straight line to align on, that way the two points will snap to each other.
Genius! Thanks for sharing such useful tips! 😍
Hi Dansky, do you design logos as a business too? Do you have a website or a place I can go to?
Thnx for the video! very thankful,
but I have a question,
when you're editing in ill, how do you switch from one mode to the other? There are times when the logo is seen without color, the contour lines are visible. On the other hand, in the other mode it is seen with the colors and the fillings
Outline mode , how can I put in fast like you?
Cmd/Ctrl + Y to switch to outline mode 👍
@@ForeverDansky Thnx bro!
could you make video about making logos that use empty space (don't know the technical term) to make it easy to transpose onto any colour background?
Sure I can look at that. The term is ‘Negative Space’ 👍
Thanks man i learnt something new today ✨
God bless y'all, God loves y'all ❤️
Verse of the day
Isaiah 26 : 3
Exodus 20
Thank you,
Can you make a video for combination of 'BH' characters logo?
with request from my side
2:09 mission failed 😂 priceless reaction
i have a question , in the end they are all separate segments , should we have to group them or we can send it to client like separate segments ?
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
An alternative way to turn the stroke into a fill/object is to go object>path>offset path :)
Offset Path doesn't convert strokes to fills, it literally just offsets the path by a specific value, keeping all of the strokes fully editable 👍
@@ForeverDansky Omg, I brain farted, I meant object>path>outline stroke 😅😅 Sorry for the inconvinience
I love how you try to respond every one in comments section
Thanks Joel, yea I do try 😊
This technique is visually very pleasing, but you need to be aware of some issues they can come up with the “shape builder tool” for technical reasons like to many anchor points or you sometimes can’t expand the shape after using this tool.
is the pathfinder better then?
It actually is. Because you get the purest results from it, but the “shape builder tool” is a lot fast and easier to use.
👍👍
Make video exporting logo for ig pfp (exported settings need for it not to pixelate)
GOAT you're T H E B E S T
Aha thank you! 😃
Sir please its request also make tutorials how we can do this in photoshop 🙏🙏 please
Thanks Malik, that’s a great idea! 😊👍
thanks alot for this tutorial , but when i use the alignment tool it squeeze the shapes together instead of aligning it , what i am doing wrong ?
Is the shape selected with the Selection Tool? If you have the Direct Selection Tool selected, it will align anchor points instead of shapes 👍
@@ForeverDansky now it's aligned , thanks alot, i am starting in illustrator and those small details are annoying , do you have a tutorial on illustrator basics ?
What's that light in the back?
☆☆☆☆☆ dansky
in AutoCAD there are snap points (endpoint, tangent, parallel etc)
Sorry, is this relevant?
@@johnsteed9083 i talk about how to pick a tangent point I know that if this feature exist in the program it will be helpful but AutoCAD is a vector based program
@@johnsteed9083 yes indeed.
Do you recommend making logos with gradients?
You could have done this with the pathfinder tool and not dragged the pieces away and back again.
RDN LOGO plz
I wasn't aware that Seth Rogen was a graphic designer...Anyway, thx for your wisdom Seth ! :)
I'm stuck on 3:02, i get "To join, you must select two end points of the same or two different paths"
