- Welcome to another episode of squishy makeovers, where I transform ugly, used, old, dirty, cheap or unwanted squishies (donated by my subscribers) into my own creations. I repair, paint and cut away for hours on end to complete these. Hopefully you like them. Get used to lots of rainbow and sprinkles, because I am addicted to both!

1. CAN I SEND YOU SQUISHIES?
So many generous people have sent me their unwanted squishies so I actually have a lot to work on already, BUT if you desperately want to, you can request my mailing address in the email ALLLL the way at down in the description (sorry for the traveling), make sure to read the disclaimer down there as well.
2. ARE SQUISHIES RETURNED TO THE SENDERS AFTER THE MAKEOVER?
No. These squishies are sent as donations to the series because they are damaged and/or no longer wanted. Everyone has been informed in advance that squishies would not be returned.
3. WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE?
I use fabric paint. Fabric paint is meant to stretch, so it is perfect for squishing! Any brand will work fine, but I mainly use Tulip. You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, and Online.
5. WILL FABRIC PAINT CRACK?
The matte fabric paint is more likely to crack after lots of squishing. Slick fabric paints never crack. But there are benefits to both. I usually mix the two paints together to get the best of both worlds.
6. CAN I USE ACRYLIC PAINT ON SQUISHIES?
I would not recommend that. Acrylic paint will either make the squishy hard, or it will crack and flake off very easily.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 28 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try).

You should get a wooden tray from a thrift store; paint that. Then glue a foam layer in the tray and paint it and glue the pots in rainbow order so you can move the collection as a whole 🥰
It’s incredible this is her 35th, she had come so far. Renting a basement to having a huge art room and a beautiful family

I can't express enough how much I appreciate Moriah being so honest about the process, especially when it doesn't go smoothly and the result isn't as pleasing (to her anyway, I love Pinky!) It's such a realistic example of how the creative process is and how important it is to finish a project even when you're not 10000% in love with it and how you can find ways to keep going. Honestly, it makes me feel like maybe it will be possible for me to get back to creative activities some day...

The plants are called succulents! They have such a wide variety that it's a little confusing, but a cactus is also a succulent! They're physically really delicate, but they can heal damage pretty well and are super resilient environmentally (as in, they can handle huge droughts and cannot be drowned.) An "air plant" (needs no dirt and occasional misting) is a succulent, and most normal succulents can grow in water with no dirt as long as you have nutrition drops.

I actually think the gradient on the pot was a really good last minute idea and brings some more detail/interest to the more simple designs
I love the yellow sheep but I think the wool should have been part of the plant. If you agree, I would love to see that done. Moriah should write a book about her characters. Each page has a drawing of the different character, they’re a personality, trait, and their skills. I think this would be a cute gift for her kids!

I just find it weird that these plants that were inspired by Fred has part of Fred, also I'm surprised that Moriah did not realize this. Hi Elizabeth, I love your painting, the squishes came out very cute! I think those plants are based loosely on Succulents like Echeverias, Pachyphytums, etc. Succulents can be a variety of colors including pastels, if you ever want to add even more color it might be cute to look at some succulents for inspiration, I know you were trying to tie in certain rainbow colors with each plant so I figured knowing this if you hadn't before might give more freedom to tie in colors.
