I really appreciate how Moriah showcases all parts of the creative process, not just when everything turns out how she wants but also when she makes mistakes and how she tries to fix them. Although of course, I think things look great even when she hates them but still, I appreciate her being vulnerable. Also, I love Misty!

It’s crazy to me that I’ve been watching this channel since the basement era. I used to come home, my junior year, after being in marching band for football games on Friday and looking forward to a new video from Moriah and being so happy to watch them to relax.

Artist tip: You can alcohol ink to gesso to tint it without thinning the coverage. This could speed up your overall process if you do a tinted base. 3:07 There are other tiny options also, but I find this tends to remain truest to color when it dries.

Here's a cool idea! Maybe Moriah can customize a dollhouse with rooms based on her characters (Georgie, Pickle, Derp, etc)! It would be so cute to see how they would live in their own little rooms❤️
A trick to possibly help big eyes look better is by adding more depth. Using the big green eyes of strawberry dog as an example: a nice light base color; a darker, more saturated color painted in the lower half; the pupils on top; and lastly as many eye shines as you see fit. I hope this helps a little :] there are of course a lot of other ways to draw eyes, looking at inspiration is always good.

ive always wondered how moriah organizes her video clips because she always has ones from other vids like how does she find them? are they labeled or put in a folder or does she have to dig everytime
I love this! Also just a tip: if you want to paint the pupils a different color, try a color that’s a little darker that the iris color that’s in the same color family! It gives that cuties look without it being too bold
she has years and years of experience in a very specific style of painting and she has a very honed aesthetic guide, and even then she will still mess up from time to time. Art is a variety of skillsets and talents that come together to make something to express yourself, don't beat yourself up when comparing yourself to others. Take your focus away from your own insecurities and instead find ways to improve from other's examples and you will grow as an artist much faster. Good luck!
I love these styles of videos you've been doing lately. They're all smaller projects that you can do in basically one sitting, but it feels more down to earth. It still has your chaotic energy but in a more personal way I guess. Misty is for sure my favorite of the group, she's an absolute cutie

A trick to possibly help big eyes look better is by adding more depth. Using the big green eyes of strawberry dog as an example: a nice light base color; a darker, more saturated color painted in the lower half; the pupils on top; and lastly as many eye shines as you see fit. I hope this helps a little :] there are of course a lot of other ways to draw eyes, looking at inspiration is always good.

I love this! Also just a tip: if you want to paint the pupils a different color, try a color that’s a little darker that the iris color that’s in the same color family! It gives that cuties look without it being too bold

she has years and years of experience in a very specific style of painting and she has a very honed aesthetic guide, and even then she will still mess up from time to time.
Art is a variety of skillsets and talents that come together to make something to express yourself, don't beat yourself up when comparing yourself to others. Take your focus away from your own insecurities and instead find ways to improve from other's examples and you will grow as an artist much faster. Good luck!
I love these styles of videos you've been doing lately. They're all smaller projects that you can do in basically one sitting, but it feels more down to earth. It still has your chaotic energy but in a more personal way I guess.
