    Because you have that mist filter, does that affect the exposure compensation numbers? Like without the mist filter or ND would you be over exposing more than 1 2/3 stops? Coz I be using a similar recipe and I'm over exposing like 2+ stops sometimes.

    • @Chollette
      @Chollette  23 дні тому +1

      The mist filter doesn’t really cut light but it’ll give it a bloom look. I’d say bring your exposure compensation to 0 or play with your manual settings case by case.

Likewise for the soap opera haze filter everyone is using. I imagine in the near future we'll look back at this as a dated trend like old vintage instagram filters or HDR.

      Some recipes only work for specific scenario, as you can see most Kodak recipes set the white balance to daylight (or around 5500-6500K) , that’s mean you’ll get the best result in daylight situations. If the results is not what you want, try tweaking white balance and WB shift, or simply set it to Auto White Balance for the better results

    Lifeunintend website - simulation: Color! I heard you use a 1/8th from tiffen, do you still use the negative clarity setting besides that or do you disable it with the filter? Deff. Going to try bright kodak, thanks for the inspiration

      I’ve honestly left the clarity at -3. Sometimes I like it but other times I see it being too soft and I’ll punch the image in Lightroom.
      Thanks for watching and sharing!
