I like teles but agree, teles in hard rock or metal bands make about as much sense as a violinist or DJ.
Vince is struggling big time because of the click track.. he has been since they started using them..
He's not a real singer and never was but they wouldn't have made it big without him.

Mick chose the correct time to leave the band. They should have stayed retired and basked in the glory of their early days.

I saw them a couple years back on that tour with Poison and Def Leppard. They put on a great show, but I wondered the entire time how much of it was actually playing/singing on the band's part and how much was backing tracks for instrumentation and vocals. They're so lethargic they should have kept Mick in the band. He'd be positively vibrant compared to what is on stage now.
As long as Vince Neil sucks as massively as he does, the tour is a sad money grab. Zero respect for the fans to put Vince up there.
Previously I couldn't stand negative comments about his voice, but now it has gotten so far that we need some resque team removing him from stage. I'm normally a fan of original members, but since Mick being replaced they could just as well go on further and replace Vince as well. They could probably get a deceant singer from a Mötley Crüe tribute band.

I agree with you guys - it's just a money grab and Vince is obviously just going thru the motions - there is no enthusiasm. John 5 is way overkill for them - but it was time for Motley Crue to retire in 1994.

Saw them in 89 they were good. 2003 with Aerosmith....so much fog on stage, it was silly. They sounded horrible, one muddy mess. Aerosmith who I didn't even like, sounded amazing.

Wow, they would blow Motley Crue off the stage , If they brought them on tour with them, Makes you wonder why, They always tour with particular dried up bands...😂
Even Stephen mentioned that he thought RATT should go on the road with Motley,

+ Groupon type of last minute deal sites, offer show tickets for $50 to see the Stones. The problem is, as this secret slips out, the Black Keys (whoever they are) have found pre-show ticket sales so low that they had to cancel vs taking a bath. I saw Heart & Def Lep for $24 five years ago, this way. $24 and no extra fees added in. People at the show paid far more, $40-60 per seat. plus convenience fees, printed ticket fees etc.
I totally agree 19:20 it's just a "nothing song". They have lost the songwriting skills when it comes to writing catchy songs, like they managed to pull of in the eighties.
I think part of the problem is they actually went outside of the band for songwriters. Back in the day it was mostly Sixx writing and Lee and Mars adding to it. Once they started going outside the band, the sound started to change... Mars guitars were no longer the driving force of the songs and suddenly it was no longer Motley. However, I will say, their `94 album was great. Corabi really added some much needed soul and grit. Too bad fans only want the same old stuff... that record was amazing and it could have been an incredible ride if Corabi was allowed to stay on but the band was desperate so they went back to VN.
@@ernestbuckley8671 I too did like the 94 stuff with Corabi. It didn´t sound like classic Mötley Crüe but still it was really great music. Then they did bring Vince Neil back in the band and released the worst record ever in 1997.

Glad I saw them in their prime in 87 and 89. They should have quit while they were ahead after the Dr Feelgood tour.

I gave up on Motley years ago. I kind of felt like John 5 soiled his career a bit by joining them, considering Mick was there 1 redeeming quality. But he seems to be really into it, so good for him. I gave up on this video with the first caller. I guess I could never hast a show like this, because I do respect John 5 and I would have hung up on him. He’s going to complain about John 5’s make-up??? Hello ‘Shout At The Devil’!!! Ok, I’ll stop now.
As a casual rock fan these days I have never heard of John 5 and will be checking his other work out now. I'm sure he's making bank and introducing his skills to a wider audience. Plus he has the greatest seat in the house when Vince falls.

These two old guys are like the grouchy old men from the muppets. Everyone keeps hugging and kissing on John Corabis when all brought was just a crappy grunge voice. What makes these two guys experts. As you age so does your voice and timing. Bon Jovi has it Roth has it Coverdale has it Ozzy to and so forth. If y’all want to hear a train wreck go hear a Metallica show they have a drummer that everyone thinks is the shit but he can’t keep tempo. And that’s what we teach kids in middle school.

94 album with Corabi is their best overall release.

Not even close to 1st and 2nd record. 94’ was good. I bought it when it came out. But, without Vince back in the day they were just another band. Those first 2 records were phenomenal.
Love that album.. it rocks hard and the guitar work is excellent

Tracks galore - I have to wonder if Chris is correct, people want to hear stuff loud, with the band and others. That's enough to justify $500 for Crue tickets, $30 parking if lucky, $10 small cans of beer. Very sad if this is the case. To stare at old chubby guys pretending, poorly, to play. Zoinks !
The opening of the song is pretty OK, but the chorus is some Generation Swine crap. I'm wouldn't pay to see Mötley Crüe when the singer is 10 times worse then he ever was.
Also I don't think John 5 is a perfect fit for Mötley Crüe even though I like his guitar playing.
I would rather go and see a band like Pretty Maids which is a great live band and the singer is as good as in the eighties.
Vince could be better if he stops trying to over sing parts and rushing through parts as well. He overdoes everything.

They should have got Tracii Guns. Five has technique, but no soul. It is his tone that drives this song and it's horrible!! Nikki knew what was cool in '84. His current ideas are so corney. The video to this song and the live show video opening are sooo corney. Tommy Lee is still a God. They should have five go pros set up around his kit so you can watch him the whole show. He is the only reason to see them.
I agree, John 5 is a technical player but I’ve never been impressed with his solos but at least he isn’t wearing a dress this time. Sixx hasn’t written a good song since Dr Feelgood era and it sounds like he is writing for 13 year olds these days

I don’t care who it is, I’ve worked on tours with major acts. You never go see a artist on the first leg of a tour. It takes a minute to work out the kinks.
