Hi, I like your question. SG is seen as a stepping stone or launchpad to other destinations with more opportunities and platforms. We’re not known for our arts scene, for example. If you wanted to pursue the arts, you would have to start your career overseas in order to make a name for yourself. We are but a small speck on the map, with no natural resources. There is only so much we can do with a small land size. Hence some people are pessimistic in their outlook of staying in Singapore.

Hello Hi, I have no words to describe Singapore... It's so incredibly beautiful, clean & neat, city I have ever seen in my life..... I have visited Singapore twice spent alott of money only to travel to Singapore from Dubai... Though I have visited various other counties in the world.. Singapore & Istanbul would be the best for me.... Singapore seriously creates a total different happiness vibe ... I really want to get settled in Singapore... Though it's a small country the people, the tourist sites, the nature around you, the malls, especially the awesome 4 or 5 star hotels around you these all has a separate vibe..... U would really not feel to leave Singapore... I guarantee you... #Singapore is the best & safest country in the world ❤️❤️😊😊😊😊🇸🇬 I wish I could visit Singapore again & again 😚🤗🤗
For tourists that is what you want but for Singaporeans you will not want to live here I literally have to stay till 6pm everyday because of psle 11 hours everyday
Very well done video. I have been to Singapore many times. I love the country. Singapore is a prime example of a nation of diversity that is extremely successful. I think that the key factor to their success is their own form of strict government authority with respect to disruptive stuff yet allowing huge choice and freedom in life and business for people who just want to live and let live. Also... it should be noted that life expectancy is quite high in Singapore. The average Singaporean can expect to live about a thousand more days than the average American and all for a price that is less than half per citizen. Viva Singapore!
We have been there 4 years ago..it was very amazing & probably it was one of the cleanest place ever..& their hospitality is very perfect than others..
Singapore is the most awesome place I've ever been to. The people are so friendly whenever I'm asking for help. The food is just incredible and extremely cheap at Hawker Centers ($2-$4). Proud of my country after watching your video! As always, taxi drivers here give the real Singaporean view since they meet people from all walks of life, I really enjoyed the last part of you interviewing them.

@@Meinan4370 What's wrong with that? Do you see ideologies from a dichotomous point of view? The point is about balance as OP said. Even in countries viewed as democratic as capitalistic like America, they have always had policies communistic in spirit like tax, social welfare etc, and in the private sector there are insurance and charity etc. Every ideologies has its own merits and flaws. The reason Singapore has done well is because it doesn't believe in just a single ideology. It believes in pragmatism to make use of the pros of every and any ideology to make up for the cons of every and any ideology.
thank you for your wonderful coverage of Singapore. I live in Spain and it's always so nice to know how foreigners appreciate my country. Thank you once again,.
Singapore sent many of its brightest students to other countries like US and other developed countries to study high school, college and graduate schools from 1950 to 2000 and returned to their country Singapore and apply what they learned to hasten their country’s development. They went and came back to show their love to their country.
Singapore don't have brightest students....all bright students are imported to represent Singapore. Singapore Government spend a lot of money on foreign students study in SG, later transfer to oversea for further studies.
@@MrAlbertYam Not true. There may be some foreigners in our student population, but they are definitely not the majority. Nor do they form the bulk of our brightest students. In fact, in the PISA education ranking, Singaporean students ranked second in the world for reading, math and science, and top in the global competence test.
@@indonesiar110 Not true. Perhaps only a handful people not majority. When Singaporeans travel overseas for work or holidays we really appreciate so much of our own safe and clean country when we return. The foreigners we meet in Singapore were very impressed of our racial harmony. Mosques, temples and churches are built near to each other. The western foreigners said they have to watch over their shoulders when they were in their home country. Our multi racial citizens live near to each other under same building with harmony. You can find Chinese, Malays, Indians, Eurasians living in the same estate with peace and harmony. That is the great policy implemented by our government, our founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
@@indonesiar110 Really? I am Singaporean and I know of some who move to Australia, UK and USA, thinking the grass is greener on the other side. The numbers from Malaysia, Indonesia, China, India, Hong Kong etc coming into Singapore by far exceed emigration to these countries, usually only due to marriage.
I work in Singapore for a year and had visited many times. As a Seaman traveled many countries around the world. Singapore is the place where life smiles. Truly idle place to live.
@@leihoa You can! But if you are used to cold weather, you might find it uncomfortable. Im a S'porean here, i usually walk out to hawker centres out in the heat for 30 minutes. Just wear shorts and a tshirt, if its too hot, bring an umbrella! And yes you can get used to it. Theres also lots of shelter provided incase its too hot, there is also lots of occasional rainfall.
As a China-born, Thai national of 76, I admire the City-State of Singapore since her founding Father, Lee Kwan Yew & all the developments from the Government in these several decades ...... CONGRATULATIONS! from ' The City of Angel ', Bangkok. Singapore is unique in almost everything & becomes one of the Top Mega Cities in the world ...... Maybe the small size & small population are the advantages - but the attentiveness of all the Governing Bodies do their Best to make ' Singapore Great !'
I visited the City-State many times both with my family & businesses over 30-yrs-ago with satisfaction & happiness (now, with all the beautiful developments which I missed). The Kingdom of Siam (now Thailand) has missed all the opportunities to become Great from all the ' Selfish, Greed, Bad, & Evil ' people since they turned the ' Land of Smiles ' into a Chaotic nation from the Stupid Western Democracy ... I have no words to describe Singapore...
Indeed a safe country/city, but there's no prove that it is the best and safest country/city in the world.
l was there 2 weeks ago, beautiful and safe country, love to go back
Levent Yılmaz welcome back anytime Glad you enjoyed my country:)
I miss this city, kind people,a lot of feast like food events, clean, green, safe, I'll be coming back...
I am from South Africa. What a stunning place. I certainly want to visit after the Corona virus is defeated
Welcome!
Rashid Meyers Hahaha- If you do, hope you enjoy ur stay!
Sure
Singapore is the most awesome place I've ever been to. The people are so friendly whenever I'm asking for help. The food is just incredible and extremely cheap at Hawker Centers ($2-$4). Not to mention Ride Sharing (Like Uber, but it's called Grab) is dirt cheap too
I'm trying to upload more Singapore videos on my channel. Such an amazing country guy!!!
@@FoodOscar So true bro and when it comes to racism there is almost none it's like I forget about race when I'm there
I absolutely love Singapore! One of the safest places I've ever visited! You can walk late at night and still feel extremely safe!
That is the freedom enjoyed by people.
@@linhwang6651 cos we are spore..we cannot compare apples to apples with even our neighbours..they are huge...we r a tiny dot..so wen we say we are the best..we hv to compare w tiny dots in other parts of world...not even on par with our neighbours
@@munerahmohamed2846 , Compared with tiny countries of similar areas, Singapore does exceptionally well. With population of 5.4 million, it provides jobs for the citizens, also job for over 1 million foreign workers. Isn't that extraordinary? Compared with other cities with similar population sizes, it is still a very safe city.
As well as African country called Rwanda
I miss Singapore so much. My first oversea destination once the pandemic is over is beautiful Singapore. I miss the chicken rice, laksa, and shopping.
This city is so beautiful with an airport covered with forest nature. Love singapore from zambia 🇿🇲 ❤️ 🇸🇬
Proud of my country after watching your video! As always, taxi drivers here give the real Singaporean view since they meet people from all walks of life, I really enjoyed the last part of you interviewing them.
Hello Sister I will visit your beautiful country this Christmas.
Can you have time to take me out?
Its tiny but very safe. Its strategic location is a network to the world. 🌐
Cleanliness, sanitary, disciplined, respect! Thanks for such a wonderful video!!!

What a marvellous country .....truly sensational in every way !!
Careful ~ Trying new things in Singapore is not....ahem; encouraged.
Lovely n beautiful singapore .i wish to travel singapore once a time.
I admire their discipline ,safety in the night , transport system and F1 night race
Very very good and accurate reportage about Singapore. I was there in December 2018 and confirm it's the Singapore I saw. Thanks !
@Alex Croton the weather is never too hot and temperatures range from a mild 20°C to 30°C average throughout the year the same goes for Malaysia
@Peter Sonatan - those are feel temperatures.
@Alex Croton = They have air-condition everywhere... shopping complexes, public transport, restaurants, etc. If you stay out of direct sunlight and indoor, it is great all the time. If outdoor, you can take an umbrella or stay in the shades. If you jog, do it in the evening or at night when it is cooler.
@Alex Croton no , as there're thundery showers often , after rainfall the air is fresh and cool.
@Peter Sonatan wrong, because there's rainfall all the time,So actually we won't feel that hot .
I had no idea Singapore was that modern... even the housing apartments, streets, etc. I want to visit! Thanks again for another very informative video! :)
Haha...Probably you just came out from the cave. It's the most important financial center in Asia, dubbed the Switzerland of Asia. Every Asian billionaire could have an account here.
@@maxdc988 hahah savage 😂
What a beautiful city. Thanks, CoolVision.
Been to Singapore. I am so amazed how this country works! Would love to live in there
i love this country. Perfect balance between east and west, socialism and capitalism, luxury and budget....
Singapore? Budget? LOL
@@luuchoo93 Luxury & budget he said, i suppose he means you have high class restaurants and shops vs hawker center and shops in the HDB residential areas.
@@skychaos87 Yeah, most foreigners like @luuchoo G have no idea that hawker food can cost as low as $2 for a plate of Chicken Rice.
socialism lol
@@Meinan4370 What's wrong with that? Do you see ideologies from a dichotomous point of view? The point is about balance as OP said. Even in countries viewed as democratic as capitalistic like America, they have always had policies communistic in spirit like tax, social welfare etc, and in the private sector there are insurance and charity etc. Every ideologies has its own merits and flaws. The reason Singapore has done well is because it doesn't believe in just a single ideology. It believes in pragmatism to make use of the pros of every and any ideology to make up for the cons of every and any ideology.
Big credit to the founding father of Singapore... Rest In Easy Oldman.
Founder of Lee Dynasty.
thank you for your wonderful coverage of Singapore.
I really doubt this... lol Most Singaporean that i know of would move to bigger nations such as Msia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Australia and the UK
@@indonesiar110
Not true.
Ive been to singapore 5times.. i love the food.. the nature and its safe place and thier transpo system amazing..
The weather is nice, people are nice, the environment is nice, it's the best place to live ❤ I love Singapore ❤❤❤
Sry we already full.. No more space..
Good but the circulation is different the others countries. The steering wheel is located at the right.
Our famous Kings from 1,000 years history could have done BETTER - ' OUR GRATITUDE TO ALL THE GREAT KINGS ! '
One of the very best videos about Singapore. None of that "look at me, look at me" videos that are so prevalent on UTube. It must have taken forever to video then edit and put together. Very well done. A credit to you. My favorite thing about Singapore is it's mix of people and the individual areas, China town, Little India, Orchard Rd, Marina Bay, Sentosa etc.
Or some others who sensationalise corporal punishment, fines, LGBT or chewing gum
Please can some one help me? I want to visit Singapore please
All "man-made"! Nothing is natural there!

Singapore has always been in one of my dream country to visit and I am so glad to finally be able to visit it.. It is indeed a beautiful country. Very clean and innovative. I loved every places we visited. I am a fond of structures so my favorite is the Marina bay.
I love the vegetation of Singapore. I can't wait to live in Singapore 😘
I just hope you’re not a westerner from a xenophobic country, if you’re not you’re welcome
Great food, great public transportation, clean, civilized, lots to do, friendly people, really a wonderful place - once you get used to the climate. It isn't too hot but the humidity is tough when you want to do something outside. Still one of my favourite places in the world and I've going there fairly regularly the past few years.
Welcome back....soon
LOVE IT! Thank you so much @CoolVision. You have delivered exactly what you promised.
I'm from Australia and Singapore is by far my favourite country to visit in Asia. I've traveled there four times and I still can't get enough. What an amazing country. The people, the food, the scenery and let's not forget... that mind-blowing airport. Love you Singapore!
Is Australia better or Singapore in terms of quality of life? Which one would you choose to live in if you were a foreigner to both?
@@peymanpishyar-dehkordi8997= I have been to Melbourne, Australia and Singapore. A former Singapore resident here. One of the safest place in the world as I used to hang out with friends until past midnight without any worries of getting mobbed. The airport is one of the best too. The downside is that you'll probably get a little bored after a while. But if you love night life, Singapore offers many top knotch places.
Hope one day I can visit this beautiful place. My dream is being there, at least once!
Hello! Visiting Singapore was one of my dreams. Now I have so much footage of Singapore from my trip that I honestly was drowning in it. In this video I tried to sum up some of the facts abouit this wonderful city country island. Hope you enjoy!

@madonna brooklyn Bushnot to mention it had the second highest per-capita execution rate in the world between 1994 and 1998, estimated by the United Nations to be 13.83 executions annually per one million people during that period.
