Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta (ENPT) - Tamil
An elongated wait hypes expectations and kills the actual art work. This film is just a classic example of it. Had it been on time we might have celebrated it much better becoz we have seen better films in this gap.
We have seen Dhanush doing Vadachennai n Asuran so this is just not the best from him becoz of delay.
Music hooks you in the Songs and BGM. Siva (Mr.X) is gonna come a long way. Film just scores in Cinematography too, especially during dark scenes n songs.
GVM took all the best sequence of his films and weaves it together and made this however it doesn't blend well so there's a lot of holes n missed out threads in it.
Megha Aakash ruins it with her acting skills and most importantly with dubbing. Sasikumar speaks Hindi n English without his usual madurai accent is freshly brewed. Both villain were used just to abuse women n arouse anger in hero n the audience.
Too many voice over dialogues which comes as spoilers too (eg., Lift fight).

Very predicted story. I expected a lot from GVM and danush combo. But ENPT is very similar to Acham enbathu madamaiyada movie. Songs are the only highlight of this movie. one time watchable in theater because of Dhanush, GVM and Darbuka siva's songs and music.
