- This week’s episode of the JHS Show was a little different, and by “a little different” I mean “the greatest episode we’ve ever done.” I had the pleasure to interview Jessica Dobson from the band Deep Sea Diver, and hear a little more about their amazing new album that’s dropping TODAY.
I love interviewing people, I love hearing how musicians got into the industry, and I think Jessica is one of the best guitarists currently making music, This episode is a dream come true.

I got into Deep Sea Diver because Secrets was featured on Record Time ages ago. Seeing you all together was amazing, this record is amazing, and Jessica's tones are ridiculously amazing.
Coming back to this yet again, I just want to commend Josh on how respectful he is as an interviewer, he listens and he doesn't interrupt, and more importantly he treats her as an equal, as a musician. Obviously Josh is against the bro-ification of guitar but it was really refreshing to see that put into practice and not just words. Big ups to Josh for being so kind, thoughtful, engaging and again, respectful

Surprised, even as guitarists talking about guitars, that I’m not hearing more praise for her amazing vocal work in the comments. She really uses her voice like an instrument in a way that I find really remarkable.
Excellent episode. I hope you can do more like this. My wife actually watched and liked this episode as she's a fan of Deep Sea Diver. While she loves music and has excellent taste in music, she's not a musician, so this episode really crossed over to a broader audience. Keep it up JHS.
Josh- y'all could do one of these a month and then put a record out.
Man, this show just keeps getting better and better. You and Nick are killer players, the whole thing's edited and mixed really well and even the gags all land (the timing of the dudes waiting on the couch reveal was perfect). And now this amazing interview with an artist I wasn't familiar with whose stuff I'm definitely checking out right now, plus a great sounding, nicely shot full band performance...damn, you guys are knocking it out of the park!
