I am so tired of hearing this MMA vs SEALS debate. There is absolutely no comparison between the two and I'm surprised that people on both sides don't realize that. MMA and SEALS are both elite classes of warriors on COMPLETELY different battle fields and arenas. Both of their objectives and strategies for victory and their end goals and rules of engagement are vastly different and don't even come close to being comparable. The only vague similarity between the two is that both are a form of combat. Comparing MMA to SEALS is like comparing a Tiger to a Shark. If you throw a Tiger in the ocean, the shark will eat him alive. And if you throw a shark on land, the tiger will tear it to shreds. They are both apex predators in their own environment and SHOULD dominate their respective "battle stages".

Also, you could either take your shot off the rip or divvy it out at any time through out the night; no warning, unless they wanted to be nice. @@lukav3255 I wanna make this clear, movies potray special forces in a fictional and unrealistic light when it comes to CQC. They arent as good in hand to hand combat as movies portrays. I have to disagree with you Strickland. What you said at the end, "MMA fighters we are the toughest hands down". Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking anything away from what MMA fighters go through and the mental fortitude you have to have just like NAVY SEALS, but just as your video shows, It's comparing apples to oranges. You're trained for a specific skill set. You're trained to fight, but not to kill. Certainly MMA fighters have the ability to kill, but do you have the mental fortitude to live with that action. SEALS stack bodies and have to cope with that for the rest of their lives. They also have to accept and live with losing their brothers in battle. The men that can live a normal life after turning a human into spaghetti and seeing people they care for deeply in the same way is toughness as well. I'm not saying one is more tough or bad ass than the other, but to claim MMA fighters are tougher than SEALS is an incorrect statement. Each has its own hurdles to overcome. MMA fighters are certainly the pinnacle of human physical fitness. Both MMA and SEALS are bad mother fuckers and should be revered, but each are specifically trained to certain skill sets. Incredible video nonetheless and showcase of what separates the two.

"bro, you ate that head kick like breakfast, my man"
(warning, long-ish story below)
This reminds me of when I was a teen, where my 2 homeboys (and one homeboys girlfriend) and I decided one night to play the "dude game".
We planned on doing what we usually do most nights, spending the night (which is until enough people grow tired and start heading home) getting inebriated & intoxicated with all kinds of other substances that were affordable (mostly inebriation though).
The dude game was equivalent to the Volkswagen Buggy car game, but replace the buggy with the word "dude", so that every time someone says the word "dude" you get hit, and If you have proper reading comprehension you'll notice I said hit, not punch; why?
because it meant exactly what it said: hit, you can hit with any part of your body, to any part of the "offenders" body, minus the/and near jewels and anywhere above the shoulders.
Also, you could either take your shot off the rip or divvy it out at any time through out the night; no warning, unless they wanted to be nice.
One was normal height and pretty skinny, but he was fast (he was of Italian descent from the Pura Vida land) the other was shorter, slower, but stocky with power behind his movements (he was from the land of Burritos).
The more trashed I/we got, the more someone would tend to keep saying "dude" for either trying to explain their pain or just any mental thought in general, and boy was I racking up the tab that night!
Let me tell you folks, that night, I was the equivalent of Mitch here:
just a gawd damn power bag.
I don't think there was a single elbow, knee, knuckle, ankle, heel, forearm, shin, etc that I didn't eat from each buddy multiple times; the salt was flowing from my eyes of pain, and theirs of laughter.
It got to the point where my friends where repeatedly trying to convince me to STFU for my own sake, after every cash out.
I wouldn't quit the game, and they (just like Sean) weren't going to pass up on a free power bag session.

MMAs fighters are not the toughest, they're best at hand to hand combat, and that's a completely different thing. SEALs put their life on line regularly, they get out of bed knowing that they may die and that if they mess up a lot of innocent people could die. If Sean loses a fight, he just gets a concussion and maybe a broken bone. Sean sleeps in his million dollar mansion while SEALs stay awake for days in the desert, in the snow, and in the jungle.
That is true but I wanna say that fighting can also result in really bad injury or even death, he could get knocked out and never be the same after which is scary as fuck but I do agree on the stuff you said about navy seals.
@@lukav3255 I wanna make this clear, movies potray special forces in a fictional and unrealistic light when it comes to CQC. They arent as good in hand to hand combat as movies portrays. What they have going for them is their mindset 100%, enough that they can go and withstand hardships that probably no more than 1% of men could ever dream of going through. Like torture for days once captured marching for days, swimming with wild sharks at night, holding breath underwater fore minutes, etc...

Exactly my thoughts. I get there's massive skill differences, but the guy looked so out of his depth. Like a novice.
@@Benjalina123 that's the speed difference. same thing you see in college athletes going to their rookie seasons against seasoned pros.
Both of you just don’t understand the difference between amateur fights & then fighting one of the biggest names in ufc.
Wasn't he like 5'5 tho .. I mean Sean is 6'2" and looks about 220..... Just size alone would have took the fight out of him really quick. The way he was snapping that leg kick back to back to back to back.... Strickland had a plan. I'm gonna take the fight out of him before he even gets a chance. That's like someone normal swinging and damn wooden bat at you. It was at that moment, he realized he Fucked up;
@@KaneSmith-zx3gp Mitch Aguiar is around 5'8" and Sean is around 6 foot. Mitch has a 2-1 pro record, last fought at 170, hasn't fought in 4 years and is 35 years old.
bro respect to the navy seal. He did not quit and didn‘t even think about quitting. He rather got ko‘ed then giving up.
WTF, he's a professional MMA fighter. He never threw a punch. His hair threw more punches than his fists. Protect yourself some for Lord's Sake.
Brah you said "his hair threw more punches"🤣💀
Good luck throwing a punch when your legs are turned into jelly
You have no idea what you are talking about
You're right. He could've put more effort in.
Easier said than done. Sean was putting his arms in front of him to prevent him from attack him, even if he fire more, there's not point in punching your opponent's gloves, he'd just tire out faster
