When I was a fighter this is always how spars went with newbies ..the biggest issue is never sparing with gloves and gassing ..people throw their fear tantrum first 30 seconds and are literally gassed beyond lifting their hands and then u can just relax and not burn barley anything while they are on overload trying to just survive . We had a rule 50 rounds on the bag for every 1 round in the ring is how in shape you need to be …once you are at that level fighting barehanded feels like u could throw forever . Even just boxing all the tie ups of pulling and pushing will devistate your cardio if you haven’t trained

Navy seals skill set is different than a mma fighter, one kills with guns , knives and explosives. The mma fighter uses his body. Both killers just under different circumstances

Sean would be a better war fighter then a navy seal would be a fighter. So it's not equal if you switch place like people are saying. Any one can pull a trigger and call in billions of dollars of reinforcement. Seals do have incredible strong minds but as far as all combat a pro mma fighter is the better one. Now if we are talking torture a seal would out last a mma guy.

I hope this made them BOTH money in some manner. I watched part of a video with the SEAL,and if I understood correctly the SEAL is no longer active duty and does have some mma training. Just not at the level of Strickland and he knew going in he was gonna get beat. But he wanted the attention for his social media page and supplement company. From what I've seen online that's been the only one to accept Stricklands challenge. From what I gather Strickland threw the challenge out their in response to a question about Goggins being in his opponents corner in one of his fights. I'm not sure of the details. I'm not even sure how much animosity Strickland really has for our Military vs how much of it is an act. Sometimes I'm not sure how much trash talk is real and how much is Sports Entertainment type hype. I have heard video's of people that think all the trash talk and hype is helping put butts in seats and make money. Personally I've never cared for trash talk,but maybe I'm in the minority.

Good times. Now Sean needs to do some Army shit and go rucking for 20-30 miles. It'd be fun! 100% Sean can do it but it's gonna be a BIT DIFFERENT than a typical day! I'd be there for it! 🫠

Im so tired of this idiotic topic and argument. Training and application of both career fields is entirely different and neither define absolute "toughness" of a person. I've trained in both during my life. Sean Strickland, this is your profession, and you are undeniably good at it. You have the level and aspect of "toughness" needed to excel in it. Yes, you will absolutely win a physical fight against a SEAL. Especially in regulated match on the Mats. However, success in SEAL training (particularly BUDS) requires a different toughness. Let alone a lifelong career as one. You have not gone through the entire SEAL pipeline. You've never lived a career as a SEAL nor have you lived 20+ years of combat deployments as one. You have no argument to say that MMA fighters are the "toughest" until you have lived and experienced both worlds. A SEAL would get smoked in the ring with you, just like I guarantee you would get smoked in SEAL training. Try both, then talk. I promise that if you do, you'll find a humility that you didn't know you had. Enough of this bullshit
