Simple drain and fill. Nice work! Not sure why so many are afraid to do this 😂. Toyotas “lifetime fluid” needs to be changed every 40-60k depending on driving conditions and towing.
Wait you didn’t run the capacity drain procedure. If anyone watches this video… don’t follow this. There is a very strict procedure on refill where you bring the tranny up to something like 110f then plug the check drain at temp.
No it's not .. you do it when the vehicle is cold ..drain and refill same amount of fluid then you are done .. what you are saying is true if you mess with it when it's warm/hot
That's only on a "Transmission Flush"......Not a simple drain and fill. I don't know what milage he was at when doing this but eventually you want to drop the pain during a drain and fill and replace the Transmission filter and pan gasket.
The reason you want to go the "bring it to temp" route is because you don't know if it was over filled before you got it. Is it necessary? no. Is it more thorough? Yes.
Please stop the music. This is supposed to be educational, why don’t you speak so those interested can understand what you are doing. Instead of this merry go round music
So, if it was hot or cold you drained for instance 3 quarters and then you filled 3 quarters.. what's the difference and why this would mess up the transmission.. it's a question
Awesome music and a great tutorial.

What type of tranny fluid did you use and ft/lb torque for both fill and drain screws?

Exactly, I also hope that anyone who have gathered the courage to touch the cars also gathered enough knowledge on the how, not just watching a

WAS THE FLUID HOT OR COLD WHEN YOU DRAINED IT?
I'd say hit just to pump it with ease.

Not supposed to be educational, this is my diary, I am not a teacher.
