2:48 I do that now and again. It does work for me because I know what my weaknesses are and what I need to do improve on it. Just like you said it's confidence!
I'm terrible at snooker but I am good at something else that needs a great deal of practice - the piano. I will offer this tip: don't practice mistakes because you will only get better at them. Instead, change the nature of the problem (in this case the shot) so you can't miss, then slowly increase the difficulty as you continue to pot it successfully.
Hi there. I am sorry but I do not know your name actually. I have been and still am watching all your contributions. I must really admit that I am checking every day if you posted an update or not. With this post I want to compliment you on all the different subjects you are covering over and over again. This is much appreciated and a pleasure to watch. Thanks and regards from Richard Mostert from Ridderkerk, The Netherlands.
Hi Richard, thanks for your kind words about the videos. They usually come out 9am Uk every Saturday. Unless something unfortunate happens. Like last Christmas when I nearly died (exaggeration). The name thing is a bit of a mystery but I’m sure will eventually be explained when I run out of ideas.
I love watching your videos, most of the stuff and problems you adress are related to pool, which is my sport of choice. Much love and apprectiation from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
your tips really help my game. Im just a social player, mostly playing with friends after a hard day at work. But I always believe in playing it right. Thanks bro... cheers from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
I really appreciate these kind of videos. They are not only informative and helpful but fair funny and clever. Especially with the clones popping out. xD
@@Breakfromlife There are 10 foot snooker tables here, and the sport IS growing in popularity, so maybe I'll just count my blessings and keep practicing:)
You should keep a log of "problem shots". Have a notebook filled with table diagrams and when you're playing write down any shots you either miss potting or miss your position by a large amount. You don't necessarily have to write down every miss but if you didn't feel comfortable going into the missed shot to begin with, definitely write this down! Or if it's a shot that you seem to be missing over and over again. Then, during your next practice session do the ball pocketing drills focusing on rock solid fundamentals as described in the video.
Lots of nice exercises here. Sorry if you have but I dont remember you doing a video on proper alignment. Most of my match issues are down to not getting my cue running central to my body and properly underneath my shot arm
Watching From San Francisco California, can I get a pin on the map? Great videos, your production has improved tremendously since you started. Thanks for doing the work... Kyle Carbray

Great stuff ! Your videos have been helping me a lot in both technical and mental sense of The Game :D Keep it up,mate! Patrik, from Pécs,Hungary. P.s.; Could maybe claim the first pin for Hungary on your map...:P
"....'practice makes perfect' is an old and overused adage. If there is something wrong with your technique, you won't get very far, no matter how hard you practise. And even if you were to lock yourself away as a recluse for ten years with just a table and a set of balls to keep you company, you would still not emerge as an infallible genius who never missed a pot. Perfection in snooker is an impossible goal. But practice is essential for improvement, and that is what you should aim for. " Dennis Taylor.
