Modern Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Digital Render

The Karmann Ghia was a stylish coupe with modest underpinnings, but our render shows what could be done with the Volkswagen Golf R's powertrain below. The original Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, despite its lack of high-powered engines, was a desirable machine thanks to its swoopy coupe looks. This render model of a new Karmann Ghia takes inspiration from the original design, fusing it with modern design and futuristic LED headlights. While the new Karmann Ghia would likely have a front-engine-setup and four-wheel drive, the hope is for a rear-engine and rear-wheel drive layout like the original. The value of the Karmann Ghia is steadily increasing in the market.
As far as classic cars go, the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is easily recognizable. The vintage coupe was also an important model for the German brand - it was the first new car after the ‘Type 1’, or Volkswagen Beetle.
