Super Job, paint style and all, especially that monster of an engine, if I may, what transmission (type) are you running, everybody talks about the build, the paint, plumbing and electrical, but almost nobody, when they do this excellent superb job on building a unique machine, speaks of the transmission selected and used.
Thank you, really glad you like it. We do talk about the transmission in a couple of the other videos if you want to check them out but it’s a Porsche 915 5 speed transmission with custom driveshafts and 930 CV joints! Probably at the limit of the gearbox now with 310bhp
Insane suspension set-up....F.A.B One considerstion, is the idea of breaking the mass of black bonnet by the laying down of silver racing stripes ir similar, perhaps even running over the roof!?!?!? I've owned about 7 Ghias.....my first was a factory original 1960 that l bought in '85 with 61,000 miles. Loved it! I also have a soft spot for the '57 we found in the '90s. Put 356 wheels on it and a 1500 cc.....that thing flew!
Would love to have a ghia with the wide flare body kit and modified to handle something like a 3.6 liter twin turbocharged 993 porsche motor from around a 1995 model that made around 400 horsepower. That would be scary fast.
A flared kit would be pretty cool! Hopefully this won’t be too far off 400hp. We’re aiming for over 300 bhp with a 2.3lt single turbo set up. We should find out next week 🤞
There is and it’s about halfway done! Unfortunately we’re having to take the engine out and fit an updated clutch as it was slipping on the dyno!! You’ll have to see if we made that power 😅

I would like to do the same thing with my rear suspension that you did. Would it be possible to have the link for the parts?
Thanks!
What exactly with the rear suspension? Could you be a little more specific
Awesome work guys. Is this going to be at the VoWo show this year???
Thank you 🙏🏻 all being well, yes, but you know how’s these things go!!
I was curious what suspension that was? I have a coolrydes mendeola, but that looks different.
Yeah it’s Red9 Design
That’s gonna rip! What sort of power output are you expecting?
We’re hoping for around 320bhp! We shall see!!
Great work- again any video of the final car? Did the engine make the 330 hp?
