I just failed the Nclex exam.😭😭😓 I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling. 😥 I'm confident that I will be a good nurse . I just need to get past this, move on and persevere
@Dion Joyner - [ ] I'm sorry about your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Mrs Catherina Alison and that's how i passed My Nclex exam
Maternity Nursing is not one of my strongest subjects BUT I'm so proud of myself because I was got most of the answers correct. Not because I'm a scholar of the content....but because I was able to CRITICALLY think through the questions. Professor D......I'm finally "getting it". Thank you 💜
You are a life saver! I’m in my 4th semester of nursing school and I have been watching you from the beginning. You have truly helped sharpen my critical thinking skills. I also shared your channel to a friend who is in her first semester of nursing school; she got a 78% on her first exam and got a 91% on her second one after listening to you. Keep on keeping on! You are needed!
Just what I needed!! I’m taking my first OB exam on 10/6 and I absolutely adore how you talk things through. I literally hear your voice when I take my exams 🤣🤣🤣 you’re so amazing and I appreaciate your content
Thank you professor D for everything. I am recommending you to all my cohort. I am doing much better on all my exams because of you. When I do not understand a question I read it in your voice in my head! LOL. Thank you again for everything keep those videos coming!
Professor D! I used your videos in Fundamentals last semester and again in this semester for Med-Surg, I just got a 94 on my first Med-Surg exam thanks to you!!!
thankyou for your amazing videos. i have my finals on thursday, i pray that what i learned from you, i can apply. thankyou for everything you do. i appericate you lotttt.i pray i pass my 3rd semester of nursing.
Professor D, I'm so grateful, for you and the way you teach. You have been such a blessing to me and your explanation, of a topic is just so thorough and easy to understand. From the bottom, of my heart, thank you.
You are so awesome, the way you teach helps me to retain the information. Please do not take offense, but you remind me of a brilliant lawyer/congress woman of Texas, miss Jasmine Crockett. You both are so inspirational, it is great to see women of color flourishing in this unpredictable, maddening era. I am an older Mexican/Sicilian woman who has had a rocky life, trying to break old family curses, bondages, and strong holds. I am currently in nursing school, holding on by the skin of my teeth. I love the way you pray before as well. I will pray you continue to have the energy and enthusiasm to continue helping struggling nursing students. thank you again.
The one with Ativan. You list another benzodiazpine for why one of the answers were incorrect. The peak affect might be different, but everything else is spot on the same as Ativan. I hope I don't get a question like that, sheeesh. Also, you're a blessing. Some of these questions are basically spot on word for word on my exams.
Great resource Professor D I see you are still rocking and I am spreading the word about how your helped me 2 years ago. I work L & D and you nailed it ❤️
Professor D, thank you so so much for always helping!! You’re so amazing as always. My first maternity/OB exam is tomorrow and you’re the best to help me prepare ❤
Question: Is there a way for you to link your follow up videos in the comments. For example, you said you were going to do a part two. Instead of us searching trying to figure out which of your videos is the part 2, is that something possible to add to the comments? A link to the next one I mean? Thanks for all your help!
I really struggled with the question at 24:00 even with the rationales. Lorazepam does cause d) Decreased alertness, and is also in the class of benzodiazepines which cause central c) Nervous system depression. I'm not sure I could conclude that it was only a) Increased sedation for the purpose of testing.. This feels like it would be better as a SATA? Or am I missing a point for that one?
When you read alertness think A&O, a change in level of consciousness. Lorazepam is an anxiolytic that sedates the patient and makes them more sleepy. But, they would still be appropriately able to answer your A&O assessment questions although they would be super sleepy/sedated.
For the question at 11:00, I understand that the first 3 answers are beneficial to the supine position, but I thought the fetus being in a posterior position is not favorable and leads to a harder delivery and the anterior position is better.
Thank you for this video one of my weakness is this topic…I love watching and listening to you professor D. I hope part-2 of this video we can see more of your face, part-1 questions is covering your beautiful face
