I just listened to this song for the first time yesterday. I am not exaggerating at all when I say I have at least listened to it 30 times by now. It's came by at just the perfect time in my life. And I cant thank Baroness enough. It is an extremely calming and atmospheric song that is quickly rising to be one of my favorite songs of all time.
Saw them like three years ago in Berkley. Zeal and Ardor were who I came to see (if you don't know them, look them up!), but Baroness was playing and Deafheaven was headlining. It was a hell of a concert. Zeal and Ardor was amazing, but Baroness and Deafheaven were fantastic as well. Once Baroness played this song, I was like, "okay, I get the appeal." I still have the little posters they gave out at the end of the concert.
haha by far one of my fav films! its good to know there are stil people on youtube who dont attack anything that isn't immediately in line with what they believe.
Glockenspiel. Nice. Also, this song is amazing no matter how you cut it. The atmosphere is crazy, the lyrics are just unforgettable, it's a masterpiece. I think instead of bickering about complexity, you guys should think about what this song is about ;P
Totally fitting that this is the yellow disc closer. Fucking perfect tune! "And I can't forget the taste of my own tongue" Fuck, sometimes when I listen to an album like this, it reminds me of why I fucking love music so much!
I really love this song, and it's amazing. But i just can't help but notice the identical similarity between that synth/ guitar (cool sound) at 4.19 and the chord progression used in 'in the house in a heart beat' from the 28 days later soundtrack. anyway, not at all rubbishing this, it's a freaking awesome track!

Best song ever!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!! Like if you think this is amazing!
that's what i just started wondering because yellow comes before green that yellow is the catchier more progressive stuff while the green album could just come from nowhere to be something no one expected
Simplified? Listen to Psalms Alive or March to the Sea. Sure, their songs don't have the flashy riffs and fast tempos, but it sure as hell isn't simplified.

Love this song to bits. Only just discovered this band recently..they are fantastic
intro kind of reminds me of"time consumer" by coheed and cambria, such a sick band though, and every song i listen just gets better

so awesome..so very very awesome!
Both yellow and green are very mellow, softer albums compared to their earlier stuff. And I personally think they're both majestic.
BitHead1000 sent me here.Great Jam!!

Eula is from Green Album, and Green Album is the more mellow one

I totally forgot what my toungue tastes like. Oh yeah I remember now.
"like" :D
I did a cover on vocals/guitar of this song. Check it out!
agreed! got way bored of that yell he used for every song on their last album
Except Red > Second/First > Blue
Yooooo what happens when they run out of colours
Then they can start taking ideas from Crayola and use things like "Pewter" or "Mauve".
OR....they could start using shapes. =O
they invent new ones
each album got better as they progressed out of sludge but Damn this is a little too soft for me
*a quick search
close, but no cigar
Alot of prog bands are simplifying now.
You have no idea what "prog" is.
Meh.
