- In this video we create the ultimate trial chamber experience with flying hellhogs, wireless redstone magic and computational redstone. We will learn the complicated mechanics of building a pig cannon in minecraft capable of dropping the player into trial chambers helldivers style.

I swear, the moment where people can detect more trivial player activitys, that can be used as a remote will gonna be wild
should be possible by building a small transmitter in the stab charge. I dont think it would be possible to choose the location very easily, but you could probably have some preset coordinates that are relative to the original stab charge. each hole you create is another spot you can build more small transmitters to call in more strikes.

man, i think this has got to be one the best minecraft videos i’ve ever seen. the combination of maths, interesting game mechanics, and amazing 3b1b-esque animations makes this a pleasure to watch.
3b1b recently released a video on how he does his animations so i guess cubic were watching 😁
I agree, this must’ve taken ages to make!
@@shelbyward9048 This is partly true, but Grant made Manim open source a long time ago. Anybody can use Manim to create math visuals, and its a very simple language to learn. It is time consuming to code, but it isn't exceptionally challenging. I've made a couple visuals for class.

I swear to god, we just need Minecraft redstoners to teach every math class above trig. I’m not even joking. JKM (flustered): Oh, Cubic... the only thing greater than my passion for you...
...is my passion for storage tech.
My understanding of wireless redstone, however limited it might be, suggests that, frankly surprisingly, the message is also protected against potential listeners for similar events, as long as they don't know the exact sequence that is used for the reciever and transmitter.
This essentially makes it encrypted using a secret key.
Heres a challenge:
Make a system for this with public and private keys, as in non-symetrical encryption.
You are underestimating him
at that point, just make RSA key exchange in minecraft and create a private messanger system, hell, just make the internet at that point.
@@ewest4817 I mean, its defo possible
@@ewest4817 one day we will have mutiplayer MC in MC (the minecraft in minecraft)
Actually, even if you have sequence and get the message, it's already kinda encrypted, since it doesn't send text, but only binary. Thus unless they have the exact same decryption as receiver has, they won't be able to understand anything besides ones and zeros.
It's nice to procrastinate on learning linear algebra with video about linear algebra

This channel is becoming so crazy that at 3min in the video I knew he was gonna send a flying pig through the whole map and shoot his magical orbital cannon to make a hole to end up directly in the trial chamber...and they did it with the best final "lets use our wifi magic redstone" to tp back with the ender pearl stasis chamber. We keep pushing further and further even now this is crazy.
By the way great explanations with the matrices transformations and all, the 3blue1brown package is doing these technical video a huge favor, I really like that addition.
21:07 I feel so bad that I didn't beat you to this problem, but life stuff got in the way.
Binary encoded serialised message transmission is always something I've always wanted to tackle since the day you released the video on wireless redstone.
Seriously, this stuff is so cool to me.
Oh and a thing I considered a while back, if you wanted to send messages faster (i.e. to not wait for an extra daylight sensor tick) whilst accounting for the variability of dropper velocity (so you dont have to dispense items twice), you could use a simple implementation of hamming codes for error correction - this only makes sense now considering you're transmitting a larger packet size instead of a single bit.
Nevermind about the hamming codes. I guess powdered snow has got you covered lol
And I guess also nevermind about serialised. That also slows down transmission.
He has become too powerful, with the 3blue1brown style animations he can convey technical minecraft ideas in a way no one has before.
Sometimes its nice to see technical players struggle with simple things like getting pigs into minecarts. This was an insane project!
you would be the perfect main villain for a Minecraft movie
Genuinely, the coolest thing about a redstone wizard is that they have plans that they slowly, but steadily work towards. Put into a villain, you have an enemy that is perpetually building up power in the background.
A fun balancing act is that lots of cool behaviours are reliant on lazy chunks. This leads to a game of cat and mouse where the heroes must defuse all the possible triggers placed in the world by exploring the world. Add in storybeats like a redstone oligarchy that has monopolized the rarest resources like elytra and you can create fascinating storylines.
@@RePorpoisedBro, you're both geniuses
This video really proves that any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic. This guy is a wizard.
Blockheed Martin, meet the Ministry of SuperCraft
Think beyond trial chambers, on a server you could strike any players base in seconds if you got the coords, or you could precisely assassinate someone if someone leaked their coords even if their thousands of blocks away. If someone made it simpler, took out most components from the new updates out this could be used on any server to dominate
He already did it
2b2t 💀
He already made the orbital cannon lol
The player-killing power of the orbital breach cannon is extremely limited since TNT doesn't deal much damage. Using arrows would be the one way to reliably kill a player, but transporting projectiles with the orbital cannon setup is nigh impossible, that's exactly why he didn't use the ender pearls here
The orbital strike cannon does exactly that. He also made a base into a giant claymore
i love how the whole wireless redstone implementation was done just so that the build could fit in the super destroyer
the things we do for compact redstone

Cubic meter can I just say absolutely incredible. In this video, you have managed to create a teleporter, a spaceship, a QR code reader, a wireless telephone, another orbital strike cannon, a music disc farm, another computer, and to top it all off you built it all in survival. Love the vid.
Hey babe, new 3B1- wait a minute...
Leaving a comment at the end of the video so UA-cam knows i didn’t fall asleep. Tho it’s 3:30am. Well done on your explanations and visualizations of the mechanics at play. Without prior knowledge to anything mentioned in this video what you explained made sense. Could never execute it myself but step by step it made sense!
Since you already have a hole to the sky on the trial, you could give players a box with the components of a quad beacon when deploying, so they can build one under the hole and make the trial even more efficient.
Trial Efficiency is not exactly something worth it unless it is solo though
This video on its own should make you instantly win every category of the Redstone Award. Looking forward to seeing that at the end of the year though.

as a 3b1b and technical minecraft fan this makes me so happy on so many levels
Every time you appear, you bring some incredible invention
No way bro casually implemented a literal better pearl cannon just for silly trial chamber raiding 😭
I wonder if you can use that pig-minecart tech to transport yourself 3.75m blocks on the nether roof to quickly get to the world border? Would probably be very heavy on the server from all the chunk loading, but should be much easier to build than what it takes to travel that far by horse/building a whole boat ice road there. Maybe theres even a way to reduce lag from loading thousands of chunks while youre traveling?
As far as i know, entities don't load chunks when they're traveling in a single tick. So it should be way lighter than an horse on the server
On wavetech we literally already have a pig cannon for this exact purpose. We used it to make a wither skeleton farm at the world border
@@splinct Wait, so it IS just a better ender pearl cannon. You dont need to chunkload the whole way there, the setup is somewhat simple if you dont do any fancy location encoding, you dont even have to be all that precise because if you overshoot 3.75m blocks the nether portal will snap you back into the overworld border, and I assume if you go for 30m blocks in the nether the border will also stop you right there if you overshoot. Bro actually invented the best instant transportation method in history 😭
@@cubicmetre I cant believe I missed this innovation. Speedrun to the world border might actually be real now
