Good morning may peace be unto all .saw early this morning on news in Ohio train derail fire all over .blessing to all there let us keep praying for each other ,say a kind word with love smile .first love all.
Hi JT thank you the new video Feb 1 beautiful double trains and im😢just checking in to see what’s new you and family have a nice nite see you. Again tomorrow ❤
Thanks for the film JT! That interesting tank car was a four compartment car, normally tanks carry one fluid only, but that one can carry four different ones. It apparently was carrying two, butyl acetate and cigarette lighter fluel, with two compartments full of each.
FYI those containers with the HMM markings stands for Hyundai Merchant Marine and ONE stands for Ocean Network Express. Nice catch on the NYC unit. Sometimes you need to face Mother Nature with the cold, rain, and snow to get the videos. Good work JT!! Steven in Gresham, Or.
Original pictures: a New York Central locomotive between two Norfolk Southern locomotives. Hard to tell them apart from a distance, they are exactly the same color.
NYC unit, DPU, diverging, short train, long trains. You got it all in chilly weather. That first grain train was pretty clean, very little vandalism (graffiti). Graffiti-Not Cool! / Good job JT! Go get a hot drink! 👍🇺🇲
Hello JOHN tooth really appreciate the shots today I said and I were there it wouldn’t place back in the spring and second time we were there love the area lotta great places real fan as you know and hats off to you for being there appreciate it🎩🎩🚂🚂
Good morning Jaw Tooth - I am eating breakfast with "Jaw Tooth" no more eggs, just cereal. Cool stuff from New York. 👍 • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
You captured some great trains at Cincinnati, Ohio and Erlanger, Kentucky on 1 February 2023, Jawe Tooth! You commented on that four-compartment tank car that came past you at 8:14. Tank car ETCX 84003 is owned by Eastman Tennessee Corporation. The car is an ARR Class T106 car. The T stands for Tank Car. The 106 means that it is a general service carbon steel tank car with a capacity of 22,000 to 24,000 gallons. It has a liquid capacity of 23927 gallons. The four compartments means that it can cary up to four different chemicals in the compartments.
Excellent great video, mr Jaw Tooth. That see i for the first time on one of your video: a tankrailcar with 4 compartiments. That is awesome the costumers van transport 4 liquide products in one tankrailcar: Whiskey, Gin, orange juice etc. Have NS also a heritage locomotive in the PRR livery? Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands 🇾🇪🇺🇸
First train I every rode on was the New York Central decades ago. I remember seeing diesel engines from the 1940’s and riding passenger cars from the 30’s/40’s. Great catch. Loved the meet. Thanks,Jaw Tooth.
With a hub like that all kinds of good rail activity rolls right to you starting with the NYC Heritage unit. The mixed power set had the best consist with the ETCX Tennessee Eastman 4 dome tank car followed by two with special instructions stenciled on the tank. A unique sight of well cars filled only on the bottom with small containers then an oldie CSXT--Sealand 40 ft well with the clampdowns and just a few containers behind on the top row a unique container with four doors facing the outside. For the bird watcher the inbound CSX train filled in as an aircraft carrier as the pigeons performed touch-and-go Landings and takeoffs on a covered Hopper. The last train filmed from the bridge had several empty flat cars that usually carry the aluminum ingots. I sure hope they found and retrieved the one that fell off last week. JT you need one of those propane heaters like the football players use on the sidelines
My wife got me some hand heaters that work all day. I want to try those. We need some more snow. I'm getting antsy wanting to film in the snow. This week we are supposed to get up in the 50s but the weather changes quick here
Nice location with plenty of rail action, multiple trains on any track. Catching NS’s NYC heritage unit was a real treat. Lots of great trains, and cool catches, like that four dome tanker. Those shots from that old bridge NS maintains are pretty cool. Takes a brave soul to film trains when the weather in inhospitable. Great job JT, stay warm son.
JT - it’s cold, but clear. YOU get it done. Thanks for the NYC heritage unit and for capturing the sounds of power so well … to include all the sneezing air compressors. Real as it gets!!!
That NY Central HU is awesome :) That was a very nice meet - we got to see both trains very well and we actually had a DPU! :) I am with you on the shorter trains these days.
What a cool get there, Jawtooth! New York Central Heritage Engine. Never yet seen one, so thanks for standing out in the cold Cincinnati air and bringing this to us! 👍🇦🇺🍻👍
Thank you for getting out there and capturing the trains. How about going back to Kentucky where there used to be the shoefly? There were a lot of trains coming through there.
Suppose you heard about the 50 car derailment on the NS line at East Palestine OH. Most of the length of the derailment waned up catching fire and since part of train was hauling vinyl chloride they evacuated a large portion of the town.
That interesting looking tank car ETCX 84003 has four separate compartments, that why there is four lids, and if you notice four Hazmat placards. They can run four different chemicals if they want, we have a few trailers like that. It's usually Purate in our trailers. Nice overhead bridge shot, neat seeing that train waiting for the second train to pass. Super Awesome Video !! 👍👍👍
JAWTOOTH... You make excellent videos! I've watched others, but none are edited as well as yours. The way you introduce them, the distance from the track, the way you go from front to rear while filming. EVERYTHING you do to film a train is way better than the others! Keep up the great work. You make them, I'll watch them.
Good Morning JT. That first train sped up really fast! Awesome catches SIR! Great video as always. That one train was massive! I wonder how many cars it was. It was so long, there was a commercial in between it lol.
WOW, I wish I could have seen that New York Central engine clean and shiny....or better yet, brand new. I admit, I get confused when JT refers to Union Pacific as "foreign power", when Union Pacific is as American as baseball. Their HQ is in Nebraska.
Jawtooth your viewer Beeble2003 trying to tell me that 1987 is Ethanol and 1993 is not but all respect I wasn't arguing with him but I told him that both 1987 and 1993 is Ethanol because that's what the internet says because if you look at the website Lab master and it will tell you
Yep using a heritage engine on the 3 lead middle engine due to lack of engines to use since so much freight is moving so all railroads have to bring out there older engines that are not used as much to supplement power needed, been seeing a lot of heritage engines being used and even yard engines being used as extra power. 2nd train being seen has a UP engine in the center of 3 lead due to lack of engines.
Man, I love those heritage engines. Another great video. How far are you away from that 50-car train derail in Ohio. What I see on TV is that it doesn't look good, lots of fires, smoke and chemical cars that carry plastic that makes pvc pipes and car fabrics. Probably couldn't get any close to video it.
Every one of these trains are interesting including some different rail cars.love DPIs.. Some really long trains. Rarely do you see a train stop along a track and wait for another train to pass. Guess their schedule got mixed up. Thanks...enjoyed all.

I went by here last Tuesday, finally saw the CPLs. It’s been years (since toddler age) since I’ve seen any CPL
Good morning I enjoyed the video👍👍
Good morning!
That NY Central, JT!! Hoowee!
The fact that you can find the rarest of all locomotives and artifacts of all railroads is just amazing and mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍
Mornin'. Looks like you've got a week of warm weather (with some rain) looking at you.
Original pictures: a New York Central locomotive between two Norfolk Southern locomotives. Hard to tell them apart from a distance, they are exactly the same color.
Nice catch with the heritage unit
I’m not exaggerating, but every time you upload, I get hyped and go to watch that video
😅yes warm feets with wooden shoes Brian. thanks for the video, coool. greetz:🍐Peer.
That industrial building used to be a Formica plant. There was a faint formaldehyde odor when you passed by.

A longer video, just right for my view. By the way the shorts won't work in a lineup on my smart tv. Thanks Jawtooth
Great video keep them coming j.t.
NYC lightning stripes make anything look good. Great video, hit the spot. Thanks JT!
