Yes agree. Perfect fit case to hold the tail air. Is to pack away and travel with. Fast and easy setup. And the case has a protective hard case the helps protect the tail air from any impact or damage. Great design. Totally agree. Cheers 🍻
Thank you very much for your support and feedback. I’m glad you found the video helpful. I plan to make more videos about the Obsbot Tail Air in the near future. I have ordered some additional accessories to use with the Tail Air. Stay tuned.
Great intro video. Thank you for posting this. You even answered my question about the small single to dual USB-C adapter, LOL. Now I know what it's for. Looking forward to more posts from you on this. Yes, I joined your Tail Air Facebook page. I was in video production back in the late 80s and early 90s when the buzzword was multi-media but got out of the business around 2005. I've been waiting for almost 20 years for this camera and it's finally here. I could see where the tech was heading but I really thought it would've gotten here quicker. I bought the three camera setup off their kickstarter program and instantly fell in love with this system. Really looking forward to doing some seriously professional stuff in 2024.
Awesome thank you so much for your your support and feedback. I’m happy this video has helped. This is a power ptz camera and has many helpful features. I will be sharing more videos about this tail air and the accessories in Jan 2024 so stay tuned.
Thank you very much for your feedback and support. Much appreciated. I have been using this tail air more and more for my live streaming videos. Very helpful and jammed packed with so many features.
That video screen is a computer monitor that we can connect the tail air to a video switcher like the ATEM mini via the hdmi connection and we can incorporate the tail air with a video switcher for live streaming or video production. It’s just an example on how the tail air can be used.
Yes you can purchase the Tail Air NDI license key and you can use NDI HX to send the video feed from the tail air to your PC for example and record on your pc. You can also use NDI tools free software to be able to view and control the cameras pan, tilt and zoom. Hope this helps
Nice review. You cover all information needed. All the spec and feature of this cam is great, but my only concern is about the 4x digital Zoom. I need to use the Zoom feature at some point and I want to see quality comparaison with a 1080p 60fps setup that use the 2x and the 4x Zoom! Normally with 2x Zoom with a 4k sensor with not affect the quality on a HD capture. It's possible to show some record test with the Zoom in action to see the image quality? Thanks!
@@LeoPazzo In or out is not important, just to see the qualité of the image when you zoom (max capacity on 4k mode) and with the HD mode (max capacity) and 2x capacity (witch is supose to be "clean" with the 4k sensor) thanks, Im looking to use this to capture Boxing even, to place these on each corner with NDI connection. But in case of Press Conference I need a little bit of zoom to help me.
@alexandreverreault9902 ok sounds good. I was asking about indoor or outdoor because lighting is very important. In a poorly lit environment the image quality will not be that great. I believe outdoor or in a well illuminated environment will give the best results. Would you like the tests to be with auto exposure or manual exposure ?
hello 👋 , I was wondering why my tail air is not charged after being on the charger for 6 hours, I noticed there's a usb c splitter in the box, with a lightning logo and number 1 logo , am I supposed to use this? no info online or user manual..
Hello Kendrick All you need is the USBc cable that is included in the kit and plug it into the USBc wall hub plug and plug it into the wall outlet. I believe I read in the manual that if the temperature gets too hot it will stop charging. I would try this. Make sure the tail air is fully powered off. No led lights should be illuminated when it’s powered off. Then plug in the USBc cable into the tail air USBc port and plug the other end of the USBc cable into a USBc wall connector plug and plug it into the wall. After a few seconds the led lights at the front of the tail air will start to show that it is charging. Hope this helps. You don’t need that 2 in 1 adapter for regular charging. That 2 in 1 adapter is used to supply internet to the tail air and at the same time be able to charge it. In your case just try charging it normally without the 2 in 1 adapter. Keep me updated.
@@LeoPazzo thank you for the reply, I just turned them off, and they were fully charged in 30 mins, I guess they dont charge while on and recording or like you mentioned, cam temperature, thanks again
I think it will do great capturing video of live music sessions. As far as the audio though, I suggest using some sort of audio recording device to send nice clean audio to the Tail Air via Aux cable. Or you can record the live music session with a external recording device and then sync the audio in post production. Tell me more about your setup and what devices you currently have and your overall plan. And I can hopefully guide you in the right direction.
Hey Rick, I’m sure you can connect your tail air to the Atem mini pro with hdmi cable. Get a micro hdmi to regular size hdmi cable or adapter and you can plug it in directly to your atem mini pro
I mainly use the tail air connected to pc with USBc cable. I don’t really use the wifi connection to pc. If you want to connect the tail Air to your pc via wifi I “think” you will need to launch the tail Air app and connect to it with you mobile phone via wifi. Then go into tail air app menu settings and set it to UVC. Then launch the tail air pc software and I believe when it launches a screen will pop up and ask you how you want to connect to the tail air. I can’t confirm this is the correct method.

Yes it does. With a USB-C to Ethernet adapter, you can connect Tail Air to an Ethernet cable. The PoE support takes Tail Air's capabilities to the next level. 🎥💪💯
I have 3 Tail Airs. Want to connect them via wifi through a wireless router that doesn't access the internet. Got it to work but my Macbook needs to stay connected to the wireless router that doesn't have internet. I would like to connect my Macbook to my internet wifi connection and the wireless router that the cams are connected to would like the router connected via ethernet to my Macbook. Can't get it to work, can this be done?
Put the wifi router on the side of your MacBook to connecte with a wire directly (or with USB-C to Ethernet adaptor) and you use your Wifi connection on your MacBook to connect to internet! You can use only one Wifi connection but you can use Wired network and Wifi on the same time!
