Very impressive product. I wonder if anyone has attempted mounting this on a drone yet and seeing how well it would stream. I'm also curious how well this would perform for professional conferencing. Microsoft Teams Rooms for example. 10x hybrid zoom would be a hurdle but at a quarter of the price with more features it could easily draw a completely different market into the mix.
It is great when it works. I bought three, one worked, one went dead after 1 hour of use and the last one gimbal went beserk and couldn't be recovered. I have to ship it back to HongKoing!!
I assume I can only tell if the footage is from the product by the much lower quality compare to the what the youtuber actually use for the studio video.
Can you set it to rotate between selected parts of the shot automatically? And if you have two can you get it to rotate between cameras on a schedule while streaming?
Looks awesome Mark, I'm using a GoPro as I tried the canon M50 far better footage but for what I do the GoPro works pretty well, saying that I'm off to search some local prices. Thanks for the vid.

Hi Mark. Awesome video. Im looking at the 3 camera purchase for multiangle. We are about to start podcasts rather than live streaming to start. Does the tail air work well as a podcasting camera setup where we can fix in post and upload to youtube etc...appreciate you helping me out
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can only get it to stream in 1080. 4K streaming doesn't seem to be available even if you set the camera to 4K. I stream to youtube rtmp but when I click on the settings wheel in youtube , it only goes as far as 1080. Uploaded videos can do 4K.
Did you were able to find a solution, I’m in the same boat, also while streaming and not using the Ethernet cable it get pixelated and losing the screen making it white and black :( the obsbot tiny camera has been working better for me. Doesn’t have this many issues
@@javm9407 I think 4k streaming is only available if connected into OBS or Vmix. Direct from the app is only 1080. I don't have the need for 4k so it's not an issue for me. I bought a second tail air hoping to use the live app but there are too many issues with it until they sort out a few bugs. 1 camera in the start app is working fine for me.
Hi there great presentation, is it possible to connect to the obsbot remotely? (Meaning being in a completely different place, not on the same wifi or LAN) And is it possible to extract good quality parts of the live video in your mobile phone through the app? Regards
Awesome video and great editing! I wish the designers of the OBSBOT would add more smoothness to the flow, feel and capturing of the takes. It pauses and stutters regardless if you are moving so it does create a robotic feeling of an automated captured.. something similar to what the ZV-E1 does.
Superb video Mark! You sold me. Great demo video. You covered almost everything I had questions about. However, could you tell me if the "Start" App works well with an Apple ( 7th Gen ) iPad? That's what I'll be using to compose my shots from using the "Start" app..
Just ONE question though, or just to be sure before buying it. It is mention that it rotates 360 deg. But will it keep spinning endlessly round and round in the same direction if a person goes the same way around it many times ?

Agh. Built in battery. Immediate no go. It's not wise to buy expensive gear to only throw it away when battery degrades.

Great critique. One thing I would have liked you to cover is how it does tracking you if there are other people around.
What about the tripod? Does it come with one? If not, which one would you recommend? I want one that can go up to 6 feet tall.
