For anyone commenting on the lip syncing being off, it's because this is a French movie that's been dubbed over into English and they likely didn't have the budget to reanimate the mouth movements for the translated version.
You are correct. The director himself said it's a low budget film.
Plus this was nearly the very start of the CGI fad that slowly became the, it hadn't even come close to how it is today yet.
this was one of the weirdest movies I've watched as a kid. Thought this whole thing was a dream at first until I randomly remembered it and here we are

Actually looks kind of funny but that "stupid" kind of funny where it's not always intended to be funny.
I mean, he finds her by the tooth that she lost in a bar fight? Thats certainly an... interesting... way to re-imagine the Cinderella story.
I used to have a dvd of this as a kid, but now I barely can remeber it. If my younger sisters didn't remind me I would have probably even forgoten about it. This used to be one of our favorite Cinderella movie along side "Rags".

watched this thinking what the hey. at first i didnt think i'd like it but it wasnt that bad! i was entertained the whole time never got bored. its kinda cheesy and obv meant for children(fight scenes are VERY mild) but its a cute movie. and yes i am an adult not a kid

Now there's an interesting take on Cinderella, a figurative and literal Cow-Girl who is nothing at all like the Disney stereotype, and can actually throw a punch & take one without crying over it.

Animation was good, could of been a little better in some place, but other then that was okay, interesting idea none the less.

This was crap I remember my uncle re-gifted this to me on DVD for my birthday and I watched the trailer first and purposefully scratched up the DVD so that I had an excuse as to why I couldn't/shouldn't watch it.

Looks like the deranged lovechild of Rango and Delgo. Pass on this but if I had a choice between watching this and Twilight, I'd watch this anyway.
The one who spoke at 0:20 had a problem saying the word town, it didn't really look like she (he) actually said the word.
If you're gonna make a animation with words, make it look like ther're saying it. And it's a bit creepy how the animals are wearing clothes, it's still good though.
The reason the words don't match up with the animation is because it's a French production, so they originally had it synced up with the French lines, and then they dubbed the English translation over the animation.
I am so uncomfortable.

I found this movie to be very strange. NOT IN A GOOD WAY! The interspecies relations seems so unnatural & awkward. I was very uncomfortable with the ANIMALS moving like sexy, superficial humans, but not being human in any way with their awkward faces. I was very creeped out by this movie. This is NOT a movie for children in my opinion. The dog's mother is a goose/turkey and he wants to be with a goat?! WTF? I almost thought I was tripping on really bad acid trip! Terrible movie, Terrible ACTING!!!
