When I was growing up slug guns were good from 40 to 60 yards. Dedicated slug guns now are reaching out to 150 yards.

Not to judge but do you really need to reach past 300 yards at the farthest. I STARTED HUNTING PIGS AND BLACK TAIL AND COULD ALWAYS STALK WITH IN ATLEAST 200 YARD
