I kind of wish they’d make the design your own car for Test Track based off real Chevy vehicles and you can personalize them to your own liking and standards
That's great to hear about going beyond Big Thunder but given the popularity of Encanto here in Anaheim I could never figure out why they didn't do more for that over here. There's a piece of unused land east of Big Thunder that hasn't been used since it was Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland. Fill in the unused pond, level it off, build up the "cliff walls" behind it and from the Rivers of America there would be no change. You'd never see past all those tall trees. It would blend in so well. An Encanto attraction would not only make sense right about there, but it's hidden ( a requirement of the house ) and gives people something to visit along that other wise long and uneventful pathway to Fantasyland.

@@MatecaCorp It actually does, considering the time period it takes place, the existing old west motif, existing Spanish architecture and the proximity to Rancho Del Zocalo as well as the Mirabel meet-n-greet. Nice try, but no, it actually fits very well.
Thank god they didn’t actually announce an expansion or a freaking fifth park. I highly doubt current management could pull it off without cutting so many freaking corners and increasing their prices even more across the board. Get rid of current management, focus on bringing back free perks that were taken away like streetmosphere, Das for the physically disabled, Disney Express yknow work on rebuilding the reputation and please please focus on properly maintaining the parks that currently exist so they’re actually worth the exorbitant price for admission.
The MK expansion is happening though. And of course no fifth park; Animal didn't make people stay an extra day so why would a fifth park be different.
What's crazy to me is they could expand, add a fifth gate, bring back "free" stuff, overcharge, and still fill the parks. It's a short game for management and Wall Street. Not much investment is long term (5+ years)
@@judgeshI don’t doubt that. They’ll need it when Epic universe opens but we can only hope it’s built under new management that sees the bigger picture and isn’t going to cut corners

They wouldn’t announce a fifth park until d23 in two months. It is a high possibility that they have started designing one though
Ellie and Carl make 6:40 my wife and I bust into tears every time. Inside our wedding rings is engraved with “So, here we are”. It references finally getting to a long planned adventure.

They need to refurbish thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom in Orlando and add in the dynamite explosion effects at the finale of the ride, I heard they were supposed to for the 50th anniversary, but they never did it

I'm so happy that Disney is finally moving along and doing stuff and with Epic Universe coming up, it's just going to be an amazing few years in theme parks. I love both. Disney and Universal and I want them both to succeed. It's all great for us consumers.
Why don’t they shove another IP down our throat and retheme Big Thunder? Maybe they can ruin that one just like they did with Splash?

They would be nuts to not get an In/Out attraction in at WDW. The sequel is breaking box office records at a Barbiesque pace.

The original was pretty successful too. Maybe not Frozen big, but I remember the meet and greet at Innoventions West. For years, people feared that an attraction would replace the Figment ride. Would be nice if they did something with the Play pavilion.
Wow I remember when we rode the last day on TT before it closed to be Chevrolet TT in 2012.
The bad thing about concept art is it looks cool but then they change the plan for it. And they just threw around stuff so we don’t know what’s coming

I hope they keep the build your own car but with a test track 1.0 and world of motion twist like how would a 1920s car would hold up in thunderstorm conditions, making it educational and fun at the same time.

I notice that the Coco area appears to be right by Big Thunder Mountain herself. This may be carried out as a reference to the fabled Mexican story of Jesus Garcia and the Runaway Train.
They should do Coco there and then have that lead to Villains because of the supernatural aspect of Coco.

Nobody asked for anything Encanto. So here we go with another Galaxy’s Edge mostly empty park. All the cool, fun IP disney has and they go with encanto. Smh….
I feel that if big thunder was rethemed, people would hate it and Disney would backtrack. Unlike Splash where so many people were cool with it going
I think the reason so many people didn’t mind splash going was because Disney had neglected that ride to the point it was a shell of its former self, give Tiana’s 5-10 years and 75% of the animatronics won’t be working either at the ride if Disney keeps up their spending cuts on maintenance
@@adamp2384 I still belong the "neglect" was intentional to gaslight people. Disney has all the money to fix the ride but wanted the stupid way out.
Also somethings on Tiana's aren't already working or weren't fixed from Splash Mountain lol

I don't think it's a retheme or rebuild. Idk how old it is but for long running attractions especially roller coasters they have a shelf life for things like track and supports. Plus it's florida so you've got increased weather wear on it.

@@countnugula666 well it's not like these attractions are inside a nice climate controlled building. They are out in the Florida elements. Even the ones inside buildings still run 12+ hours a day 365 days a year. They are bound to need refurbishment

I’m waiting for the day they reveal “The Wonders of Xandar Land” demolishing the old pavilion and spaceship earth. Space 220 refurbished to a guardians restaurant with the outside of it looking like the celestial head they lived on, and another attracting similar to Spaceship earth but you’re flying their ship instead, shows and a lot of unusual greenery/characters. It would be so awesome

I am anti woke and splash was my favorite mountain that said I rode yesterday and I really felt they tried hard and did a decent job

If they had closed splash for refurbish before woke stuff and just to update a ride like they did Ellen's I'd be sad but not resentful.

When I was there and looking at frontier land now with tianas which totally doesn't fit the area it makes more sense to just redo it all to fit in somehow with Tianas. BTM no longer fits them with Tianas

Oh it’s coming, there have been a few reliable sources stating that all the previous plans have been thrown out and reworked and cars land will go behind Big thunder mountain also a villains land and some sort of Toy Story area, I am extremely excited if that is the plans

If we are getting Encanto at not only AK but MK I'm done going. It feels so forced. If Coco gets added to beyond Thunder Mountain same thing stands. Why do those IPs belong at Magic Kingdom? They don't fit at all. Put them at Epcot or something.
That’s a first! We’re still wondering what the 5th Disney park is going to be and the theme of it.
The WDW resort is absolutely massive so it could be anything, basically anywhere. I have a feeling they’ll try and place it between AK and the rest of the parks as it’s so far away compared to the others at the moment.

It is not going to work. They don’t seem to have the money as the stock says. More importantly it may not be loved.
What the heck is EPOOT?
Disney shutdown and redid Splash Mountain into a ride that no one wants, and made the ride worse, ugly, and a pile of junk that's just a death trap waiting to happen. Now they want to do something similar to Thunder Mountain Railroad? Let's not forget the trash help that is Epcot now with so much of that remodel not working. With all these failures after shutdowns and reworking things, eventually, you just need to ask yourself if Disney is doing all this on purpose? Are they intentionally sabotaging their own parks and company? Do they actually hate money and are intentionally trying to lose as much of it as possible as quickly as possible? Are they wanting bankruptcy and a hostile takeover of the company? Because their actions say that all this is intentional.
Talk for yourself lol. The ride needed the refresh, looks amazing and it’s still just as fun. Also thunder mountain needs rework- it’s a safety hazard now with how the lapbar works.
@Sasha-mq1ii do you have any sort of an engineering background? What makes you any sort of an expert on how things work? You can't just take a ride designed to run on lots of water and dial back on that water to get a smaller splash without a complete redesign and overhaul of that ride section. Otherwise you trip all sorts of safety sensors, like what's happening with the ride now. Keep trying to force things, and eventually, that big drop at the end will result in a massive accident!

They would be damn fools to not put in cars land beyond big thunder. There’s already evidence it’s a hit at DCA.
I know this is a controversial opinion but I think closing down Muppet Vision 3-D was a big mistake because Disneyland has no Muppets attraction and Even though Muppet Vision 3-D is gone I think they should retheme the Paradise Gardens area with The Muppets The Little Mermaid attraction will stay because that is a great ride and I love it but the other attractions near it would close the Golden Zeppelins will be rethemed to Pigs in Space from The Muppet Show, Jumpin Jellyfish will be Themed to Hot airballoons themed to Kermit the Frog taken from The Great Muppet Caper, Goofy's Sky School will be Rethemed to The Great Gonzo's StuntMadness and instead of a Airplanes guests will ride on the Plunger car from the Muppet Movie and the attraction takes place in The Great Gonzo's StuntShow Madness and for his 3rd act he invited you the guests on his Plunger Car the beginning of the ride you see Gonzo in his cannon being launched in the sky and then your car jumps though a Fire hoop (Which is not a fire Hoop it's just a hoop painted orange but it glows in the Dark at Night), a circular Saw, and at the end you see Gonzo on his Motorcycle in a slingshow and at the end he crashing himself and the motorcycle on the Stunt show Building and you see his cutout and his Motorcycle on the Building which is a tribute Muppet Vision 3-D and then at the end you unload from the vehicle and exit safety. The pizza place near by will be rethemed to PizzaRizzo from Disney World, and lastly The Silly Symphony Swings will be rethemed to the Electric Mayhem and will be titled The Eletric Mayhem: RockSwings
Yep, keep buying the lies and the lines that corporate disney is feeding you pixie dusters. This is ONLY to try and dissuade the traffic from leaving for Epic in the next year. Remember that the EPCOT redo was supposed to be the biggest redo in its history too. What did you get lame gardens and building that Marriott and convention centers do a better job at.
Big thunder mountain has gotta be my least favorite rollercoaster I've ever been on. I prefer the barnstormer over BTM, it needs a retrack and updating badly
At this point, I'm a Disney nihilist. Tearing down Horizons in EPCOT was the beginning of the end for me and has been slow erosion since. I hope Disney tears down every attraction and turns the parks into Mickey Mouse's Six Flags.
