Glad I'm brazillian!
One day, UA-cam and the outdated copyright laws will finally catch up with the rest of the 21st century ... One day.
@jayveetv Please check out some more KLF - I recommend "Justified & Ancient" - it's got everything plus the kitchen sink!
Me in UK 😎
Vince Clarke is in this video, He was in Yazoo and later with Erasure ... the duos I love.
Vince is true genius 👍
I looked him up & he's worth ALOT of money. Not that it matters except shows his talent in a myriad of ways. SO musicall talented!
One of the greatest songs of early 80's, Just can't get enough was released in 81 from their amazing debut album Speak and Spell. Video not blocked in uk. Btw love the T-shirt YNWA
Bloody hell I was 20, I still sing along to this number..and my grandchildren do too.
IIRC this song is played/sung a lot on Anfield so I actually thought the T-shirt was a choice because of that
Vince Clark is a genius. Saw him a few years ago in Erasure and he is still amazing.
“Just Can’t Get Enough” is iconic and definitely one of their best. Vince Clarke had a huge influence on DM’s early 80’s upbeat sound. Shortly after that Vince left to form Yaz and then Erasure and continued his unbelievable success and run with so many hits. Vince is a genius as a song writer. Although Vince’s sound did leave behind a hole that couldn’t be completely filled, Martin Gore picked up the pieces and created a new direction and sound. A darker sound but also an amazing deeper sound. We would of never fully appreciated Vince and Martin and their music writing abilities if they weren’t separated and left to unleash their gifts to the world.
Other must hear DM songs:

That music still makes me want to dance, like it did 40 years ago. I just can't get enough ;)
This song was the actual first record i ever bought back in 1981! 75 pence from woolworths and has been on my playlist ever since lol!
👍🇮🇹❤️
80s absolute banger, I just can't get enough, takes me back to when I was 15
One the best synth pop songs ever. Guaranteed to get the body moving.😁📀🎶❤️
This is my anthem with my wife, I fell in love with her and just kept playing this song over and over when I found out she loved me too.
...Just realised you haven't done Depeche Mode - 'Enjoy The Silence' yet. Definitely one of their most essential tracks if you haven't heard.
Easily their best song.
It's true, how it's possible?
JV would cry to this song ;-(
ua-cam.com/video/0uzXbiVBPeE/v-deo.html
One of the best song they ever made and a sad thought for Fletcher who passed away this year. RIP
Man your explanations of the technical side of the music is so awesome your notice everything!!! You explain the arrangements and the diffetent instruments on your videos so good. Thank you please domt ever stop i listen everyday!!!
Probably their most overplayed song but it never gets old for me. My favourite by them! Please react to Everything Counts by Depeche Mode, another excellent synthpop song.
Same. It never gets old !
British 80's pop at it's best!
Vince's analogue synths sorcery+clever and catchy songwriting=stomping feet. He wrote some great love songs too, check out Yazoo "Only you": the magic of just ONE synthesizer (Pro One) and the mesmerizing voice of Alison Moyet in a timeless classic!
This song has had a comeback lately as Nottingham forest football fans have adopted it as one of there songs it sounds fab sang at the stadium :):) u reds !!
Depeche Mode developed and improved the Synth pop in the UK and made it famous around the world ,,thank you DM for the good music .
depeche mode always quality, you should react to as much of them as possible lol
Rip Andy fletcher you were so creative your legacy is in your music and for that were so greatful thanks for your contribution to british music 🇬🇧 👍☺️
Im old, so I know you would have LOVED living in the 80´s! :)
I love their early stuff, this one and “Everything Counts”. Vince Clarke left after this one and formed Yazoo with Alison Moyet, (Yaz in the US) and later on Erasure with Andy Bell. Also excellent bands.
Vince Clarke (keyboards) is the real genius behind this band, he went on to even better things when he got together with vocalist Andy Bell to form Erasure
Supreme Synth Pop right here!
Took me right back to my school days hanging around the record store waiting to buy singles (45's) such as this, checking the music chart and seeing them on the tv show Top of The Pops . Happy times hey.
One of my favourites to dance to - and now I feel really old as I remember buying this single when it came out!
One of my favourite songs and groups from my youth!
Those were the days! Miss them so!
Hands down, my favorite Depeche Mode song ever!
I always find it funny how this song is one of their most known songs, given the drastic change of sound and profile they had.
Even tho it is different from their usual sound I think this is easily their best song. I love the live performance from 81 where they’re all in suits and Dave’s dancing is amazing, it is as 80’s as anything can be.
Dude ! This was a regular at my high school dances in the 80s, what a classic , glad you checked it out.
this melody is a big one for the football crowd chants too
Love a bit of Depeche Mode, never get tired of this one. Loving the t-shirt, YNWA 👍🏻
The Music is Vince Clarke who left the band after this record and then formed yazoo with Alison Moyet. Then formed Erazure with Andy Bell. Chechen them all out. Vince Clarke is the Main musical influence. He's a genius!
Enjoy The Silence will always be Depeche Mode's magnum opus IMO.
Another great band and song that I love Jayvee, thank you for playing it. You are so right about the production of the song and the synth playing is something I have never forgotten and occasionally find myself humming after all these years lol. I'm going to see what other recordings from them I remember, that will keep my busy and my husband said out of mischief, cheeky man. God bless you all love hugs and peace to everyone Mary-Ellen UK
It was Moog (and others soon after) finally producing an affordable synthesizer that unleashed this early 80s tsunami of synth-pop (not that we in the UK called it synth-pop at the time).
Suddenly skint teenagers could make this kind of music.
The band lived just up the road from where I lived , still have the single and album . Miss the 80s
I've missed chair dancing with you glad too see you back missed ya !
Song that made me fall in love with this band as a young teenager…thanks for reacting to it! #justcanthetenough of DM!
Reminds me of my early clubbing days in early 80’s. Good times.
I hear this beat and I Just Can't Get Enough.
Good to see you back....I'm sat here, watching you, while my other half who's absolute favourite band is Depeche Mode, is watching Liverpool, his team, play Newcastle on TV, and you are in a 'you'll never walk alone' t shirt....
First single of theirs I ever bought x
Nice to see you back! FYI, Martin Gore (keyboardist), one of the founders, only found out when he was 13 that his dad was African-American!
A really fun song! How do you manage to not start dancing? 😂
a great tune.
You need to see them in concert.
If you’re in the UK, this is like the only song the masses know, with Enjoy the Silence coming in a close second.
It was covered by Irish girl group The Saturdays (reaching No.2 in 2009) and I think used by some of our football teams.
Me, I like it ok.
This is their earliest phase, when they were super young, with a very lively very twee pop sound and therefore primed for the commercial side of 80s music, the teen pop mags and so forth. Which as a fan through and through aware of the rest of their work, takes away from this early stuff a bit, knowing everything that came after sounds so much more interesting and unique. It’s great synth-pop, but I’m glad Depeche Mode got industrial soon after this.
The Saturdays are not an Irish band they came together in london.frankie,Molly, Rochelle are from London Vanessa is from Somerset and Una is from ireland.rochelle and Frankie were in s club Jr's which is also London based before the Saturdays was formed.
They sounded more industrial/heavy before they got signed to a label, then on Speak & Spell their sound was "civilized" (look on youtube for "Depeche Mode 1980-11-14 Technical College, Southend-On-Sea, Essex, England, UK" to hear the difference in live vs album).
Definitely not Irish just because they have one Irish member.
Even the Pogues were not all Irish.
They were one Irish, one Anglo-Irish and the rest English.
Look at can't help falling in love by Diana Ankudinova she is amazing and beautiful young lady with a contralto voice
From Basildon just down the road from me .... bring s back the memories.
Thanks for great reaction. Please to make reactions to all Speak & spell album songs. If you like Just can get enough - you will enjoy every this album song.
What a thrill to share music with young people!!! Thank you for your sensitivity.
Greetings from Uruguay, South America!!!!
Depeche Mode - ''It's No Good' (Audio only)
so lucky to be alive in the 80s
This tune came out in 1981..from there first album. Another upbeat tune is "Its No Good" from DM's Ultra album or "World In My Eyes from there Violator album both songs are great tunes
Tanxugueiras is a trio formed by Aida Tarrío, and the twins Olaia and Sabela Maneiro.
They are from Galicia, northwestern Spain. They almost always sing in Galician, Galicia's own language, although they have sung in Spanish in some performances. They also play the tambourine in many of their performances.
The name of the group comes from the toponymy: it is the name given to farms where badgers (teixugos in galician language) usually roam and that in the area of Fumaces, municipality of Riós (province of Ourense) is called tanxugo instead of from teixugo (which would be the correct form) and hence "tanxugueira".
Until 2021 this group was known in the field of traditional Galician music but throughout 2021 thanks to the videos of the songs MIDAS and FIGA, in which they mix traditional and modern elements, they became famous outside that field.
In the fall of 2021, RTVE, (RadioTelevisión Española) decides to organize a music festival, the Benidorm Fest, to choose the artist and the song that will represent Spain in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision-Spain portal carried out a consultation among its members and readers about possible candidates. The Tanxugueiras prevailed in the vote. This prompted them to appear at the Benidorm Fest with the song “Terra” that combines Galician folklore with electronic percussion. In December 2021, the video of the song was released and can be seen on UA-cam:Tanxugueiras - TERRA (Official Lyric Video). In this video the lyrics of the song are in Galician with subtitles in Spanish and if they do not appear they can be activated in the settings. English subtitles can also be activated.
In January 2022 the Tanxugueiras perform in the Benidorm Fest Final and come in third place. The performance can be seen on UA-cam in the video: Tanxugueiras - "Terra" Benidorm Fest 2022 The Grand Final.
The song and the staging are a tribute to an aspect of the tradition and culture of Galicia, the figure of the cantareiras, women who sing, and the pandereteiras, who play the tambourine, which enlivened the “foliada” or nocturnal meeting. of people to have fun, sing and dance.
The phrase "there are no borders" is said in several languages spoken in Spain:
Galician: Non hai fronteiras
Basque (Euskera): Ez dago mugarik
Catalan: No hi ha fronteres
Asturian (Bable): Nun hai fronteres
Castellano (often named Spanish: No hay fronteras
Sign language, in the last scene of the performance.
In the background images of the stage are scenes of women singing and playing the tambourine and of people dancing.
The song has the structure of a muñeira, (muiñeira in Galician), a traditional Galician melody in which “ailalala” and “ailalelo” abound. Olaia's “aturuxo” almost at the end of the performance is a high-pitched, loud and prolonged cry that is emitted as a sign of joy at festivals and “foliadas” or while doing some agricultural work.
The costumes of the Tanxugueiras are inspired by the traditional Galician gala dress, black with lace and jet decorations and with jet or gold jewels. The makeup simulates the drawings of the lace and the gold leaf on the hair is reminiscent of the gold of the jewels.
Aida is the one wearing the braid, Olaia is the one who throws the “aturuxo” at the end of the performance and Sabela is the one wearing the golden ornament on the left side of her hair.
I suggest you watch the official video in UA-cam:Tanxugueiras - TERRA (Official Lyric Video), in what you can activate subtitles in English, to understand the lyrics, listen to it several times, even while doing something everyday, and then watch the Benidorm Fest final performance. UA-cam: Tanxugueiras - "Terra" Benidorm Fest 2022 The Grand Final.
I list you some videos of this group published on UA-cam in which you will observe an evolution.
Quite apt you are wearing your Liverpool shirt whilst reviewing this as it was the tune used for, at the time, a Liverpool player called Louis Suarez. 💕YNWA 💕
This song was in the movie Summer Lovers, about 1 guy and 2 girls
Tanxugueiras have released three albums; "TANXUGUEIRAS" (2018), "CONTRAPUNTO" (2019) and "DILUVIO" (2022) and have performed in Spain and abroad.
In the first two albums, "TANXUGUEIRAS" and "CONTRAPUNTO" the songs are exclusively traditional like "O Querer" or "Albedrío" in which the power and coordination of their voices and their mastery of the tambourine can be clearly appreciated.
In their latest album "DILUVIO" (deluge) released on 07/29/2022 they mix Galician folklore with other more modern styles. Of almost all the songs you can find official videos on UA-cam where you can set the subtitles in Castilian (Spanish) and in other languages such as Terra, Figa, Midas, Averno, Pano Corado, Desidia, Seghadoras and Fame de odio. For other songs there is only the official audio, such as Arica and Sorora and the instrumentals Treboada and Acougo.
As they point out in their official website, in the album "DILUVIO", the "cantareiras" (galician word that means women who sing) question alleged faults or capital sins installed in society. To the seven "original": envy (Figa), greed (Midas), anger (Averno), lust (Pano Corado), laziness (Desidia), gluttony (Fame de odio), pride (Arica) they add three more: homogeneity (Terra), hostility (Seghadoras) and patriarchy (Sorora). Beliefs that after the storm (Treboada) they have decided to turn into transforming lessons for life: a deluge of self-acceptance, diversity, free love, empowerment and recovery of traditions in modern times.
In these and upcoming dates they are giving concerts throughout Spain solo or in festivals with other artists presenting their "Midas" tour. On their official website, which can be configured in Galician or Spanish languages, there is information about the band, their albums and concerts of the current tour.
On UA-cam there are many videos of the tour, some of them quite good like their concert in Cadiz, To see it type in UA-cam: Concierto Tanxugueiras (Plaza de San Antonio - Jueves de Carnaval 2022)
New life!!
Love this song x
Props for your tshirt too. X
😆 love your reactions 😀
Love your passion bud.
LOVE this song
🥰
Not blocked in the UK.
This I believe was their first single.the synth player was Vince Clarke a founding member of the group that didn't stay long and went on to form Yazoo with Alison moyet.she went solo and he went on to form erasure with Andy bell.
This is their 3rd single, but the first to have a music video and to crack the top 10.
@@handsolo1209 this is the first one I remember.i was 9 when it came out.
@@sarablack2547 Dreaming Of Me was 1st, then New Life as 2nd, and Just Can't Get Enough was the breakthrough hit that got all of the airplay and a video, so I can see why you would remember it so vividly compared to the other two.
@@handsolo1209 ta for the info I'll check that out sometime.
I prob saw them first on top of the pops that was the music programme at the time that was an event to sit and watch.prob the only one as the tube came later and the old grey whistle test was v late night and more alternative.
I think this was the high jump hit of them ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Audios from the new Tanxugueiras album "DILUVIO" released on 07/29/2022:
Treboada: downpour. Prelude to the coming deluge. Half minute instrumental. On UA-cam: Tanxugueiras Treboada.
Arica: action of "aricar" (galician word) or superficial plowing to remove weeds and sow. It speaks of arrogance. On UA-cam: Tanxugueiras Arica
Sorora: defense of matriarchy. On UA-cam:Tanxugueiras Sorora. This song is fully folkloric, with only voices and tambourines.
Acougo: calm, tranquility after the deluge. Instrumental of 10 seconds. On UA-cam: Tanxugueiras acougo
Questa è la vera musica😭🇮🇹👍❤️😍
Hey Jay!! Never heard this one, but it is super different like you said.

- Somewish wish i was dead

Great Reaction, Jay! Early DM the best of EDM electronic dance music. Vince Clarke is the keyboard genius! He left DM after this album to form Yazoo/Yaz with Alison Moyet. ( Moy yay) she has some bars in this fave track. State Farm ua-cam.com/video/q_c2dCO5WLo/v-deo.html Yaz did not stay together for long but made 2 iconic albums. Vince moved on with Andy Bell to form Erasure ( Erase Her?) They have remained a great duo and Alison has a great solo career. I read that she has been a great inspiration to Adele !
Loving the T shirt! The Mojo Slide do an interesting cover of this! 😎👌
I think it was blocked in Mexico too🤔My fav DM song 😭🔥🔥🔥
It’s funny you have on a Liverpool themed shirt as they were the first to chant this in football
Not a kopite but loving the t shirt
Cheers for taking the time on an English 80s anthem ❤one of Basildons (laindon) finest exports
Magnificent tee shirt. YNWA.
No way you've got a Lfc shirt🙌🏽respect to you
Erasures Vince Clarke again.
This first album was 90% Vince Clark who left the band walking his own way: Assembly, Yazoo (Yazz in the USA) and Erasure.
This sounds much more hype due to being written by Vince Clarke, who left the band in 1982 (I think).
What a Song! Have you heared "The Forest - by The CURE"?
Hey Jayvee, you should give Sticky Fingers or Ocean Alley a shot. Both are amazing and talented Australian Bands. Thanks for your great reactions.
It’s all down to Vince Clarke Jay who was also Yazoo & then(& still now) Erasure..
He’s a musical genius…
Great video as ever. love the T-shirt also YNWA
Ciao amico sei un grande un saluto dall Italia 🇮🇹
