Piraeus is home to the largest passengers port in Europe, Athens is just 12km away but historically Piraeus is an integral part of Athens. Piraeus has three natural ports the main port which is in antiquity was known as Kantharos, Zea home today of Zea Marina and Mounichia which is known as Mikrolimano.
