On May 28th, 2023, SteamRanger Heritage Railway held a Railfest, where you can get a tour of their depot and shuttles to The Bugle Ranges and back, hauled byRx224 and Rx207 at the front, and 958 at the rear. SteamRanger had a donation tin in the depot to fund 520's restoration. Have a good day or night! 😊

Well done to the awesome volunteers that put this event together. It was amazing, and probably my best experience with trains. The dedication the volunteers had was extraordinary.

Do you know a branch line that went to Milang from Sandergrove, there were alot of old alignments at Goolwa until the final line, the line from Mount Barker Junction should have been reopened

I was just at Milang's Railway Museum yesterday. It is incredible. It has 2 simulations. A steam one and a diesel one. The diesel one is in 351, and the steam one is in the SAR Light Railways Centre. They are both very fun, and I totally recommend it.

And I didn't know too much about the Milang branch line until I went to Milang yesterday. When the train was heading for Sandergrove, the train would randomly stop. I think it was for traps on the track. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@VoyagersType The last train to Milang was in 1968 or 1970, I think

The last train to Milang was in 1970, the line was removed shortly afterand replaced with the Nurragi Walking trail, it closed along with the smaller stations on the Victor Harbor line.
