The amount of features/sizes included in this drum kit at this price, REALLY makes me question why my td50x needed to cost $5,000 usd more. I know its like comparing a tesla to a prius, but damn glad a company finally made a "budget" kit that at least TRIED to give a lot.
These days looks like you can get good sound module with ability download samples and take like this hybrid set, of sound source can be any top VST- result : cheaper and sound better.. crazy pay 5000😅
@@TonyGellaMusic this set is shit build quality though, in another video i checked out that hihat has serious trigger issues, the module has way less features and ports too, those shells have probably cheap wrap around them and the rubber on the cymbals is also just alot cheaper.. does it justify the 5000 price cost? no. but saying that this kit and a vst is better than a td50 is just stupid the set is cheap because they cheaped out on alot and are probably making almost no profit with this so they can sell it so cheap
just bought it :)) My second drum kit as second one was getting unplayable.. Looks like a great replacement and a good upgrade. I got the bundle wich came with a seat, sticks and a amp :))
I think we all agree that the kits and the drum sound in general is not good. But in order not to waste all its other good qualities like the pads for example, we can use a VST, like Addictive Drums, EZ Drummer or Superior Drummer

In my opinion just as good as Roland j,but yet better for the consumer price , affordable and efficient drums ,and the fact that these are made in Germany which is way better than american companies,,this company will sky rocket over Roland due to prices
@@benbrucato8051 Supposedly you can, but I can't find any demos of a kit using custom user samples for the MPS-1000 module. I suspect the number of samples you can use per velocity layer is pretty low, so expect some machine gunning if it works
Why there is always really busy drummers in these e-drum videos? E-drums should be played with slightly different touch. Play it cool. You can do that because the sounds are big. These guys play them like acoustics. Constant fills and ghosts. Way too many fills and hits. It´s like they want them to sound bad.
Finally, a proper sized budget e-drum. Millenium made the right choice here.

Thanks alot for this demo. Seems like good enough sounds in the module :)
Drums sounds are actually quite good. The cymbal sounds are the weakness, but that's typical in electronic kits.

would it be TRRS instead of TRS by any chance?
Can you add drums/cymbals to expand this kit?

Is the latency ok compared to more expensive kits? Especially when used with usb-MIDI/plugins.
When using software plugins the latency is 100% dependent on the computer. The module becomes just a controller, like any keyboard or multi-pad.
