These videos are meant to be educational and funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
    0:00 Intro.
0:05 An important to read your owner's manual and see what features and functions your car has.
0:31 Whole rear axle assembly would need to be replaced. Hopefully, the customer will get it fixed soon enough! The vehicle was in for its yearly M.O.T. inspection in the UK.
    0:46 An easy removal.
0:52 No issue found at this time.
1:01 Customer declined to get the CD player replaced/fixed.
1:08 Floormat in the way causing this issue for the customer.
    1:17 No issue found.
1:30 The technician was surprised by a raccoon when this truck was in for a service.
1:36 The spark plugs were not properly gapped causing multiple cylinder misfires. New OEM plugs installed and properly gapped.
1:47 Only the suspension was fixed, not the bodywork.
1:57 Surprised the customer managed to drive this in. The ball joint was installed and the four new tires as well.
2:12 Hopefully the customer gets it repaired soon.
2:20 Not the best/cleanest place to leave a snack...
2:26 The technician used his phone cable/usb cable and it fixed the issue.
2:36 The oil pan was replaced.
2:42 This vehicle was just in for an oil change and the technician noticed this spray foam.
2:47 First oil change on customer's 2022 Toyota Camry and they crashed it when leaving. The customer had apparently dropped his glasses.
    2:57 Outro. Thanks for watching!

I don't know how people can survive in life, considering how absolutely clueless they are! Every time I watch one of these videos, I'm continually shocked by the stuff people go to a repair shop for, and then am horrified to think that these people are probably driving these death traps they refuse to get fixed, on the same roads as me! It's enough to make you question the validity of the driver's license testing program, that's for sure! 😅🤮🤪🤯🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ When I was younger, I used to joke that a bad driver must have gotten their license out of a Cracker-Jack box, but now I don't think that's too far off the mark, these days! 😮 Dangerous barely even begins to describe what these people are!

On one hand, it really shows how dimwitted people are when they don't take notice of some features on their car like the manual door release on the first clip. On the other hand, carmakers have managed to make a solution to a problem NOBODY had by fitting electronic door handles to cars. Someone please explain to me what was wrong with a regular, manual door handle.

It's mind blowing to me every time they say 'customer declined repairs and drove away'. In Australia if a car is deemed unsafe it will either get a 'canary' (yellow sticker that marks the car as unsafe but not too bad, must be repaired within 28 days) or a 'stop light' (red sticker that marks the car as dangerous and must not be driven until repaired). Mechanics are legally obligated to ensure genuinely unsafe cars are not on the road, and can be fined heavily and held liable if they fail to do so. Some states have yearly safety inspections, but all take this stuff pretty seriously.

The Wendy's near Busch gardens in Williamsburg VA called and said some ladies were trapped in their car an early 90s Buick it was a very hot day so i hurried over to the Wendy's and found 4 women in the car windows down. I asked her why did she think she was trapped and she pushed the unlock button and said the door wouldn't unlock so i reached in and unlocked the sliding door lock opened the hood and jump started her car. They killed the battery listening to the radio. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have a drivers license.

In fairness to the first clip, the NX has weird electronic door handles for a safety feature where they won't open if you park on the street and there's another car coming close enough to hit the door. I had one for a service loaner last week and even knowing in advance how they were meant to work (I'm a moderator on a Lexus forum, so I do know this stuff) it was a little unsettling the first time.
Edit: I wanted to clarify that you push in on the door latch to open the door. Trying to pull on it like every other car ever means it won't move, but it does have PUSH printed on it in big letters.

    • @nirfz
      @nirfz 2 місяці тому

Still would call that an unneccessary complication of what worked well. There is no need to make something that already works well for everyone more complicated and add a possible malfunction/defect.
If there is a possible collision when opening the door from the inside, it can blink and beep at me, but not prevent the door from opening.
That's a possible safety hazard in my book.
If the system is detecting something that isn'T there, but i need to get out of the car for my own safety, this is going to have a bad outcome. And wokring in electronics /roubleshooting electronics for almost 25 years, there is no electronic that never has a malfunction. I work with systems that are way better tested, more expensive and made to hgher standards than car electronics and still i have plenty of work.
(One reason i am strictly against selfdriving cars. another one is ->humans can detect an error they make while making one and already counteract, software can't. It doesn't know the concept of being able to make an error. so when SW makes an error or has an error, things go really wrong.)
