I've been looking for a wife now for 3 years. The vast majority of women are not appropriate (no hijab, feminist etc...). When it comes to events especially the woman from the 26-30+range have a massive chip on the shoulder. So i took a Fiqh course on marriage with the fiqh council of Birmingham and their view was we shouldn't go to these events or online to find someone (for various reasons) and should instead ask parents or your local sheik to find someone of good takway for you since they know you and are in the know of otheres (plus this is what happened in history when people found spouces). An amazing dua i learned recently was asking allah to find someone he would be happy for me to marry and try your best then allah will do the rest.
