What great ideas!❤ Another suggestion as a 70 year old woman I appreciate that my son sends some hard copy photos for birthday or Christmas. Then when he comes for a visit we go through them so I can write on the back about them and look through them when they aren’t around. (They live out of state)
Useful for rethinking about this Christmas! My go to gifts are a good bottle of olive oil - maybe a little pricier than the one you can get at a grocery store - and coffee. There's a shop in my town that grinds you the coffe you want - from brazil, Peru, more sweet or strong - amazing. Here in Italy almost everyone use them, olive oil and coffee 😂
Thank you, Jess. I am so glad to see more content from you. This is extra helpful as we are moving cross-country in a month & will just be getting settled/unpacked by Christmas, 2024! 😊❤ Last year, my husband's daughter got him a year's subscription to a popcorn company...a different flavor each month in a reusable metal lidded bucket! We have continuously given gift baskets to our families, which they can enjoy throughout the Christnas holiday! ❤
Thank you very much! I added your video to my favorites, so I guess next time my friends ask me what they can get me, I'm just going to send them this;)
Soo wish I could get the grandparents in my life to do something more meaningful. We have 3 littles and we come home with 5-6 LAWN SIZE trash bags of toys after Christmas. My husband won’t let me say anything for fear we will seem ungrateful, which of course we are not but 90% of the stuff gets broken/lost/just not played with. I do toy rotation and I decided last year that I was only keeping what would fit in the bins I purchased (which are 3 quite large ones) but I am constantly still overflowing/overwhelmed with the toy situation in our house. To follow my own rules I would have to get rid of 80% of the stuff they get for Christmas which I don’t want to do. Every year it’s the same thing and again I don’t want to sound ungrateful because I’m not but I’m the only one (with the help of the kids and they are usually clearly overwhelmed also) that manages all of this stuff. ☹️ great ideas by the way! Next year I’m for sure only buying our kids like 1 thing each. At least I can control that.
Any ideas for thoughtful and minimal gifts that I missed? Drop them below!
I'm going to put together a photo book of each of my toddler's best baby pictures because they love looking at themselves 😂
Aww, what a sweet idea! ❤
hahahah omg this is amazing

Great video and ideas!!!
get to know what people's love languages are as well. some people may prefer an experience rather than a store bought gift.
