Hey Everyone, I’m Dāv Kaufman. I’m a film producer and author and I travel around the world filming amazing reptile, fishing and animal adventures! I’m also an ardent conservationist and reptile breeder, specializing in New Caledonian geckos, bullsnakes, hognose snakes, and ball pythons, especially pied morphs. I hold a BA in History and Media Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude. It's so great seeing the zoo (almost) completely done! Emily and Ed poured their hearts into the zoo, and it definitely shows. Great video 😊

Great tour! The transitions through time between building to finished were so fun! Such an incredible place. The blue beauty enclosure is definitely my fave! Walking around the zoo makes me feel like a kid again. Can't wait to see what kind of events and fun things Emily and Ed come up with next!

I’m trying to get Snake Discovery on my husband’s school trip list for their students. Also the counseling center he works for to see if they can do a once a year trip. I’m going to approach some churches in my area as well. I live in Delaware so I’m going to do the research on how long it takes to drive and all. I may even sponsor a trip there this coming summer for kids myself. I just want to be a support to these two beautiful souls. 🥰❤️🙏🏽
They did an excellent job setting up the enclosures specifically for the species going into it! It's nice to see enclosures that are way bigger than needed, incredibly decorated with proper hides, water bowls, grass/sticks/bark, bedding ect!! Definitely up there with the nicest collections, best kept/taken care of & attention to detail with everything related to that specific species.
I loved seeing the zoo but more than anything seeing the friendship between Dav and Emily and Ed continue to blossom is amazing. They are all awesome people and I love watching them all grow together.

As it just so happens, we _haven’t_ gotten this level of a tour on the Reptile Discovery channel yet. We still haven’t seen all the animals in their new enclosures 😭 and the wait has been killing me! _Deep breathes. Patience is a virtue._ Any footage is *welcome* !
I think Emily mentioned in the last video that the next video will most likely be a full tour🤔

Legend says that Adam is still hiding there to this day and no one has found him yet.
Since I live here I was luck to go on the final day of opening weekend. Didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked due to crowds my kiddos were getting overwhelmed, but it gives me a great excuse to go back really soon 😁
They did such an awesome job on this! Snake Discovery is definitely a bucket list destination for me.

Reptile Rapture in Wisconsin has a huge rescue section. It's a reptile shop but they are definitely huge on rescue. I absolutely love Snake Discovery and what they created. Simply amazing. So much work and thought put into that place. Really proud of this awesome couple!
I love Reptile Rapture they are much closer to me about 2 hours and Snake Discovery is about 6-7 hours
My favorite thing about their zoo is the native snakes. I love that they did that.

Being overseas and being a native born Minnesotan, its sad i missed out on the grand opening but seeing the progress take off and seeing it turn out as amazing as it is is awesome! Can't wait until im home again to see this

17:25 Gargolyle geckos are overshadowed by Cresties, but I think Gargoyles are a much better pet species. They eat better they are much calmer and their colours are spectacular. At least in my collection.

I'm in the UK and never really had their area in my travel plans but literally going so I can see the zoo and hopefully meet Ed and Emily one day. Im Terrified of snakes to the point I couldnt even look at pictures without going into a cold sweat but watching snake discovery these past few years along with another channel has really helped😊 not yet to the point I'm brave enough to hold a snake though 😅

Looks like everything came together pretty well! I wish I could visit... This was a great tour, though, thanks! Still hoping someone (maybe Emily herself) will do a tour of _every_ animal and enclosure, because I'm greedy like that. Lol 😆
I used to spend full days at the Vancouver Aquarium, since I had to see everything and take my time. The frog display took a good chunk of the day to get through because I like to find at least one of every species, and some frogs camouflage incredibly well- some even better than the bird poop frogs shown here, though they get extra points for originality and style! 😄

I love there place but i think one of the best touches is the native snakes they need to try and obtain all of the natives. I actually been sugesting this very same thing to another utuber with a reptile zoo. I really think whatever state your in and u have a reptile zoo it makes a great educational piece to be able to display all the natives. Great vid Dav

Gods I am so proud of how far snake discovery has come. It’s crazy to think that one day I’m going to be able to go there (I can’t rn cuz of location) and look around and think “wow, I can’t believe this used to be a run down, abandoned building with walls in the way and old furnaces.”
