I just got a Raev GTX yesterday. Love it!!!
I don't know why they don't make a quick disconnect on the motor cable.. that's one of my reasons for not getting the revv1..I already have a cheap Chinese ebike with the same setup and it's a pain in the arse to change a tube or tire on the rear wheel🤦🏾♂️
I changed the tire and tube with the cable still connected. You just gotta stay next to the bike. It’s a pain if you wanna work on it away from the bike. There is a disconnect location but it’s under the pedals inside the box.
I say don't get the tesla and quit the super market. Do youtube full time and add daily vlogs. Once i got out of retail my life got much better. Keep the vids coming!

Fast forward 7 months....the GTX is pretty awesome! But dual battery and only 28 amp? Not good at all, should be at least 30, idk. Man the most bad ass looking bike is the Revv1! It's still my favorite. Maybe I'll grab it someday, I really wish it would come dual battery, really don't want to do the upgrade on it, I just bought the Happyrun G100, it's dual 40 amp. We'll see how it is.

If you know how to solder you could probably buy a switch and splice it in to toggle the daytime light on and off on the rev 1

Has Vee gone out of business? I have tried to get in touch with three different e-mails for them and they come back that they don't exist. I had the bead blow out on my speedsters in a few miles and now the replacement is doing the same thing, and the entire tire is wabbling.
Try .... Hold the + & - within first 5 secs of booting up, then raise top speed in the settings.

I feel for my ancestors across the pond, at least we get 28kph/500w Class 2. the 500w limit does mean that only a geared hub motor will have the torque to get you up a modest hill. I'd like to see what a 250w accomplishes in the UK to consider whether I should break my 500w limit into dual 250''s. no-one so far has taken this approach to address the limit, but bafang had some 250w version listing 55Nm, times 2 is 110Nm, which is close to some 1000w single motors. (childish mathematics, more wish than estimate). I am beginning to see proper dual motor bikes, but again in the 2Kw+ of the 'Hello Officer' Class, so I know they have created proper dual motor controllers with single throttle. I plan to get the BulletGT-X midsummer, I'm pretty tall. The frame is a GEM! I might get a front shock for a 2x26 knobby to reduce some rolling weight even further. I can't wait to do a Canadian review of the new model with all the tweaks.

I came to say the same thing
easy to say but the super73 controller could use all different connections than what this motor, display, throttle, brake light, headlight etc uses. so you would be replacing more than just a controller and thats "if" the rear motor on this uses the same connection as the super73 controller. also the battery rail connection needs to match as well
Well pay more than double the price of this bike and get a 73 for 4mph extra speed 😂
It's a good looking bike for sure and nice if you're looking for a smaller bike. I've been searching to buy a new bike and think I'm going to get the Revv 1 and do a dual battery setup like you did before the 72v change.

The big truck only was so much room to get over, just like you cut it close so do they. You are lucky the truck could move over, that was a really close call if the truck was a choice hit a car head-on or put you off in the ditch they will be picking you out of the ditch. Be careful don't push your luck stay safe. Your day at work may have sucked, but it would have sucked a lot more if the truck had to put you in the ditch. No on the Tesla I'll stay with my gas cars 04 Mach1 and my 04 Marauder. You need a P/U truck so you can take all the boxes to work and get rid of them there, they won't fit in a Tesla😁 Get the Rev1 going I want somewhat of an idea of what my spoiler chopper is going to do with the same motor you are using. I am going to use a different control than the sabvoton. You're brave or insane for riding a slow bike right out in the middle of traffic, I know there would be no way I would be out there on a slow bike. You say you hate people but you surely trust them with your life a lot more than I do. You and John Hicks are my favorite e-bike riders due to that you both ride in dangerous conditions and somehow make it there. I know where I live and I rode like you guys do the ER would be seeing a lot of me. Where I live I think if you hit a bike it's ten points and they would just keep driving on. When you guys were kids did someone tell you to get lost kid and play in traffic?😁 You guys sure like to roll the dice when it comes to riding out in the streets. Lol concerning the boxes. My town only allows one larger item to be thrown out every week that doesn't fit into my trash bin. So unless I forget, I usually throw out one bike box a week. Since march I've had a rolling inventory of empty bike boxes in my yard just taking up space. I also review a lot of other tech beside bikes so my basement has so much crap everywhere thats either been reviewed already or waiting to be reviewed.
UA-cam life is all fun until your house and yard is over flooding with crap you have no where to place.

i dont have them side by side anymore but i think these were taller but not as thick as the revv1 tires

this is way more comfortable than the grizzly but way slower
i still just want the revv 1 because of how much room it has in the frame. batteries ect. lots of space to do stuff.

Hey hey @MrCentraldriver .. Had a question which one is better. A DUAL 48v 18ah battery with 1200 watt motor 1800 peak 90nm or a Dual 48v 18ah with dual 1000watt motors no peak with 80nm?

Nice with the rev1 but you should have put controller under the seat so you could hv go like a 50ah battery. But nice I envy you and wish u lived near me. I'm over 50 and disabled and saving for my first ebike is taking forever. By the time I get one it's going to be winter here in NJ. But hopefully I get one soon. Need one for transportation I can't afford gas anymore since I'm on SSDI. Once I get a ebike in starting a YT channel so maybe I can do some reviews and show how to upgrade cheaper bikes. Thanks for your vids.

Maybe but it also depends what controller. Does the new controller work with the current display plug. The pedal assist plug. The throttle plug? That’s where things get tricky. Also you can’t throw in a controller that does say 50amps and your battery can only do 30amps. You will cause the batter fuse to pop. Or the battery to stop working in general. Or a fire.

@MrCentraldriver 🐍All the Ariel Rider 20x4 guys have ample low end torque with our geared hub motors so we run the E-Huntsman for the beefy rubber & 2mph top end gain with negligible offset on the low end. You can still get a set of these or any other quality tire VeeTire product for your stable of bikes.🖖🤙
