One thing I want to add after just recieving one of these that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else: this takes up 2 rail slots instead of 1 (really more like 1.5). I had to move my optic forward one spot which is kind of annoying. Not a big deal if you just have a normal dot and that's it but I'm running an Eotech 552 *and* backup irons so rail space is extremely tight. Still worth it, just be aware of that.
@ thanks & by any chance did you have a issue adjusting your magnifier to get the red dot in the center ? I just ordered a Juliet 3 micro and I been reading a lot of comments of people talking about not being able to adjust the magnifier, something about the windage and elevation not working how they should be.
I have not tried it but the pic rail mount is reversible and the optics mounting appears reversible the stock mount could be reversed the ergonomics for folding would just be very poor
@@LFDResearch Can confirm ergonomics are not ideal, but also not nearly as bad as I thought. I had previously planned on buying to QD FTS mount from SIG but gonna delay the purchase as it doesn't bother me as much as I thought, but that QD is what i'm really after.

I didn’t notice that as I was building a 2.25in height over bore setup so backup irons weren’t on my menu

l’ve had to remove my optics, trigger group and grips from my ARs. Everything is back to factory condition :(
Ouch that really stinks getting all that just right takes a lot of time
what is the aftermarket mount you are showcasing?
It’s the sig flip to side mount it’s the only option I am aware of other than the unity for that magnifier
