@@tritex6350I think he means when he hits the drums actual audio comes through and when you hear audio he’s actually hitting everything you hear. VS there being times where he hits the drums and you can’t actually hear anything(like I’ve seen with other drummers)
Ngl, this album was and is the reason I'm a fan. Back in the day, when this came out, good god damn. Shit was fucking incredible. I think it still holds up today. First album was cool, but this was frickin stellar. Nice work, Mike. Sounds killer. Brings back memories. Love it.
Not only that, playing with two kicks also introduces a lot of other difficulties live. Sound difference between kicks, one failing, extra mics, just to name a thew
@@MasNalgan well, in the early days (1930s) this was the only way to play the double kick. The double kick pedal was invented three decades later (1960)
@@MasNalgan I would say some classic death metal drummers wouldn't go anywhere without there second kick because its what they're used to. Ergonomically its hard to integrate without out it costing greatly. Also having room for other pedals (percussion etc.) can be a great advantage for some drummers!

Hell yeah!
You made this look easier than i did ....... so smooth. Love it
I like how you hit all the notes being played
What? What does this mean?
Edit: Was expecting some sort of troll, but they meant it literally

Very impressed how tight the whole band sounds, I'm loving these vids, Mike!

The Fall of Ideals is honestly one of the best metalcore albums of all time. What a blast it must be to play all those awesome tracks with this band.
Fr. I have it in my Top 3. It's sooooo good
Mike, its an absolute pleasure and education watching you play. Salute

Good job sir! 👽

Its always nice to see how can be look playing around the stage with someone who play better than you. Inspirational.

Why the swivel technique only on the right foot? Maybe I’m blind but I noticed it at the fast kick parts.

What brand of double pedal are you using? Is it trick?

Hi, what`s purpose of second bass drum if you use only one? quickly change up if something happen?
Stage aesthetics, its a classic metalcore/deathmetal thing to have double bass drums

So other than image, there is no point to having the 2nd bass?

Great song from a great album. The clean vocals are a bit out of tune but your drumming is impecable

How hard is it to play to a kick drum backtrack? It looks like you're playing it but definitely sample. Lots of notes lots of hits kind of sus
