Both the way this character looks and acts seems very sophisticated, and she has a very practiced, professional, experienced manner of comforting/soothing. And throughout she seems sensitive, patient, dedicated, and doting in her efforts. Because of that, it's my headcannon that she was a children's nanny for a rich family during her life.

Man I'm so blown away by how complex Erin is. I didn't expect her to have such a hilarious and explosive goofy personality when I first saw her stream playing games, while also having underrated Hollywood level acting skills in her ASMRs. The deep husky voice and accent is such a huge contrast to her actual way of speaking which is a testament to simply how good of an actor she is. Not to mention the many characters she can play and how different they all are from each other. Respect.

I've always had a problem with ASMR where I can't really get tingles because I can't connect with the character they're portraying cuz the acting isn't convincing enough, but with Erin I feel like I'm watching a movie but the movie is interacting with me. It's lowkey surreal.

    20:47
    The Ghost
    Softly as brown-eyed Angels rove
I will return to thy alcove,
And glide upon the night to thee,
    Treading the shadows silently.
And I will give to thee, my own,
Kisses as icy as the moon,
And the caresses of a snake
Cold gliding in the thorny brake.
And when returns the livid morn
Thou shalt find all my place forlorn
And chilly, till the falling night.
    Others would rule by tenderness
    Over thy life and youthfulness,
But I would conquer thee by fright!

One of the oldest and the easiest tricks is to film the exact same spot twice: Once with the actor and once without.
Then you layer the two footages on top of each other, edit the footage with the actor to be transparent to a degree of your liking and *POOF* there be ghost.
I'm sure it takes a bit further editing "magic" to make it seem credible but that's the ye olden gist of it.
Way back when cameras had film in them, one could make crude photo ghosts by drawing their outlines in the negative and then developing the pictures.
That was really common with all sorts of ghost hoaxes.

I mean… maybe… but ASMR wasn’t a thing back then. Women’s rights would also be an issue if you went too far back. And fantasy, which appears to be a common outlet of her creativity and certainly the outlet in this video, was not quite as approved. I quite like that she’s here and now, myself. She’s charming no matter what era she’s in, though she does old world charm very well indeed, as you said. I think she’s just a very wise and intelligent person.

@@nikweinfurter5578 I agree with what you're saying but I think we should still be aware that minorities are still oppressed. It's getting better, but some tend to think that just because we're not in the "old times" now that we're suddenly not oppressed at all. Just a friendly reminder! :)
